Despite some of the reviews, I went ahead and purchased this as it looked to match well with my existing desk and the size was just right for my very large desk. The outside packaging was a bit suspect but once I opened it, everything was in perfect condition and all parts were present including a spare of each screw or nut. As mentioned the instructions aren't very useful but this is pretty simple to put together than anyone with common sense shouldn't have a problem with it. Comes with the tools although a screwdriver and allen wrench is all you really need. This is a solid piece and I wasn't concerned at all with putting anything of substance on it. It came with wall attachments that stick to the wall and use plastic ties, I went ahead without them as it sits flat on my table and wasn't concerned about tipping in my office. The color matched well with the picture and it's an almost perfect match to my existing table which I bought from a different seller a few years ago. You can see the existing desk in the back in the picture along with the fully assembled unit. This has been perfect to clear up a lot of space and the metal backdrop is useful with the supplied magnets for holding smaller items and decorating.I can't speak to what others have posted but I had a very good experience and it was exactly what I wanted. I do recommend this. Very happy with the quality and the speed of delivery.One suggestion would be to include holes in the frame in the middle bar so the shelves can be adjusted. It was fine for me but I could see how that would be a great feature or you can drill them yourselves if you want.
