Does it make crispy waffles?

NO. It will not make crispy or crunchy. Pancakes are meant to be fluffy n soft. Please watch out EXPIRATION date on the package. I ordered 3 boxes and three were short expiration dates. I have to discard it. The vendor sent me an old stock.

Is butter milk one better than original one?

I didn't find any significant difference in taste. I use the Original one mostly.
