Best thing to substitute refined sugar!
I ordered the product even after reviewing the -ve comments about Stevia. Received the package today. Packaging was good, free samples are also included. First attempt of using the leaves in one cup tea. I guess after crushing only 1-2 pinches should be sufficient for me as I don't like my tea very sweet, I went overboard and the tea turned out little strong but not bad in taste. Yes, it doesn't exactly taste like sugar and that's ok. It's a good sweetner and smells little bit leafy but bearable not pungent. It leaves a cooling sensation at your palate and a flavour of mild basil. I will update my review after consuming it for 2-3 months. So anyone looking for substitute for refined sugar, go for it but don't compare the two. Remember this is a healthy and natural flavoring substance not artificial so tastes accordingly.

I have bought stevia for this brand many times and o was very satisfied. But this time i don't know what they have changed or added in it. Tadt is different and sweetness is very very low. Absolutely bad. Please do the changes or reverse the changes if you have done any.

Not as sweet as it claims
After 2 days of my use, below is the review M basically not a sweet tooth person. 1. 1st use after reading the reviews - as it was mentioned tat few leafs to be used for 1 cup of tea, but the taste was as nil. 2. 2nd use I added 1 full teaspoon of these leaves, still it was too mild 3. Use I crushed 2 full teaspoon n tat gave a lil sweeter taste , with which I was good enough. This was with 200 ml of water after boiling it comes to 150ml., Which made a cup of chai for me with 30 ml of milk , so I got my chai adjusted to this measurements. There is not after taste to it as the other products leave on the tongue. I have tried the stevia drops too , which leaves after taste on the tongue. Note: if u really have a sweet tooth thn u have to actually use more of these leaves. The taste is very mild, hence you will need more quantity which hurts the pocket. But this is the safest option if u want to engage in to good health. For me it works , only drawback is that need to buy more of it and hence 3 starts.

Not really what was promised
I bought these stevia leaves because I'm concerned about my sugar usage ( not diabetic or anything but still concerned for obvious health reasons) and because I was trying to eliminate sugar from my diet completely. Stevia as a natural sweetener, came highly recommended, and I had done a lot of research before deciding to go ahead. Nevertheless, I found, after buying the leaves that although they are definitely very sweet when chewed, this sweetness doesn't dissolve into drinks and foods. Also one teaspoon of stevialeaves is not equal to one teaspoon of sugar. To sweeten one cup of tea, I had to mix atleast two tablespoons of leaves, which was almost half the jar. My tea was impossible to drink after that, even after straining it. However, the leaves are very sweet when chewed on their own, and even a minute pinch of leaves will tell you so. Unfortunately, the sweetness doesn't dissolve into dishes and drinks unless you use copious amounts of leaves. I'm considering using some other form of stevia next time ( powder/ liquid possibly) the leaves are fine if you plan to snack on them by themselves or use them as a candy/ chewing gum alternative.

Should you be asking for more???
Zindagi Stevia: If you are thinking, you have finally found the sugar that will replace the bad white refined sugar, you might be a little disheartened. Not all is lost though, for me, I am happy that my morning and also evening teas are no more bland and tasteless. The type or quality of sweetness is very different from the kind we are familiar with, the taste we developed over many years of taking white refined sugar. The leaves leave a slight after taste and dry leave's aroma. You may be a little disappointed in the beginning, but believe me after a few days of regular use, you will find you are taking a liking towards it. That said, I still don't think I can crush the leaves and add to my cakes, pastries and other sweet dishes. However, a little adventure and a positive outlook will in the course of time make the stevia leaves more acceptable and replace the bad sugar to a great extent. Crush more leaves than advised before adding to the hot water for you tea. Another good thing about stevia besides its zero calories and zero blood sugar spike, is, it is reported to be a good source of antioxidant as well. Sweetness with something natural, chemical less, no calories, no insulin issues and full of antioxidants, should you be asking for more???
