We were always plastic microwave cover people - but with eliminating plastic exposure this obviously is a big need. This cover is awesome, sturdy but will fold up. Easy to throw in dishwasher and keep your microwave clean.

Update: we bought this may 8th. Today is Sep 23rd. I put it in the microwave and withinh 1.5 min it chattered in thousand pieces. It was scary how it broke. Good quality silicon and glass lid. I feel safe using this in the microwave. Put it in the dishwasher for deeper cleaning once in a while. The size description is accurate do make sure it fits your microwave because this is large. I would buy again if I had to

pretty cool, but i returned mine cuz it was a lil too big, also it’s way heavier than you’d expect
