Anne of Green Gables, Complete 8-Book Bo

The best thing about these books is the nostalgic covers. I am so glad that even 100 years later, they come in these special edition paperbacks, reminiscent of the kind of illustrations from my mom and grandmother's times. They don't age, and they're as lovely as lovely can get. Anne needs no introduction, can't wait to read the entire series! So happy I got my hands on these.

A very sweet tale told throughout this 8 part series. Transports the reader to an idyllic countryside. We move through the story as our protagonist grows from a hot-headed, impulsive, but good-hearted and imaginative little girl to a grown woman handling her family well.

Beautiful box set. Having all the volumes in it. First I read Anne of green gables in google play books and I liked her and all her silly mistakes. Moreover I can say that I fell in love with this character. So I bought this full box set.

Packaging was damaged. Books were slightly folded. Pages quality not good at all. Books are also lossely binded.

I feel cost is more. IF any other offers better price then go for it.

I just love the series Anne is one favourite fictional character. Ordered this series a while back but the paper quality is not good at all. Not worth the money. Almost like they are selling pirated copies under original name. 2700 for this it's worth is only 500

Die erste Lieferung der 8er-Box war schon gebraucht (Schutzfolie war entfernt und Bücher hatten teilweise kleine Beschädigungen. Wurde umgehend von mir zurück gesendet mit Anforderung einer neuen Lieferung. Diese Lieferung der 8er-Box war dann wirklich noch original in Schutzfolie eingepackt und dementsprechend auch einwandfrei. Da die 8er-Box ein Geschenk war, kann ich leider keine weiteren Bewertungen abgeben, aber das sich die Beschenkte über dieses Geschenk sehr gefreut hatte und bis heute keine negativen Kommentare zu hören waren, gehe ich davon aus, das es ein tolles Geschenk war!
