Power amp
I've used these in the past. They are very good and almost like a QSC copy. They slam! Lots of power and great sounding. I will buy again if I need more.

How did I not know of this sooner?
This amp was recommended to me by a friend who is affiliated with a very high end audio company. He knew I didn't want to spend 5K on their amplifiers; he said this would be plenty powerful for what i need. I was looking to drop $800 on a new Emotiva amplifier before hearing of this amp. Now I have two Polk RTI12s that have needed "real" power for a couple of years. My high end Pioneer receiver, even when bi-amped, could never power the Polks properly to make the three 7 inch woofers hit hard. I've had a Polk subwoofer doing most of the low end duty because the RTI12s weren't being powered properly. When I first connected this amp to my system, I disabled the subwoofer because I wanted to hear the RTI12s all by themselves now that they have power. This amp has brought these speakers to life! I no longer use a subwoofer when listening to music; it's that powerful. I read somewhere that this amp can pull up to 13 amps. My power center has only showed a maximum of 4 amps at the loudest volume I've played (and this was LOUD!). I can't even imagine how loud this could push my Polks (I don't think the neighbors would appreciate it either!). No distortion whatsoever was noticed at the high volumes I have played. One complaint: the cooling fan. You can hear it at low volumes and it's annoying. But it's an easy fix. I spent another $20 for a super quiet fan and installed it in about 10 minutes. Search "EP4000 fan mod" or similar on Google. It's an 80mmx80mmx25mm 24 volt fan (NOT the 12v computer fan which is WAY more common for this size). I went with a 12db fan: http://www.onlinecomponents.com/ebm-papst-8414ngl.html?p=12102075. I didn't deduct a star for it because at this price this amp is an absolute steal. Great buy!

Great Amp!!
I like that it is as heavy duty as the QSC 2450 amps we have been using. Been using it to push two dual JBL 18" subs for a couple of months now. Sounds good. Punches hard!

you get what you pay for?
I ordered two of these to upgrade my sound system from a basic DJ rig to something I could use for live sound - thinking they would power my mids and subs. When they arrived I hooked them up and powered the amps on. One of them blew a puff of smoke out the front vents and all the lights shut off. I worked with Behringer to RMA the defective unit. I had heard good things about their customer service from others who have had issues, but I believe they have since restructured their returns system. I was told the unit would be returned (according to the customer service rep who assisted me) in time for my next gig. As the show date got closer, I called Behringer for an update and was told that I would not be getting it back in time even though the amp had gotten to their returns center in time, it was not "checked in" in time for the necessary turnaround. I purchased a nice Yamaha for the mids so I could DJ the wedding and waited for the Behringer to ship back. I now have a spare for the subs (which I hope I will never need), but at half the price of the Yamaha I guess I can afford to keep it around as a backup. The cost was very good, but the initial failure rate has me nervous. I made sure the returned unit powered up and works, and now keep the spare amp in the truck just in case. If you are not super reliant on your amps and can afford to lose it during a show this is a great amp for the price - tons of power in a 2U amp. If you simply cannot afford to have an outage while at a show, then you may want to investigate getting something a little higher up the quality and price scale.

Best Amp for the Money
I've been using three of these amps and one of the 2500 smaller series and have never had a problem. They are pushing 4 12" JBLSRX monitors, 2 18" Yamaha Subs and 2 15" Yorkville Mains (Ok the Yorkvilles need to be replaced cause they're very old) The sound is clear and I have lots of head room. I crank it to over 105dbs and crystal clear. Some may scoff at the fact of these so called budget amps, but I will tell anyone looking for a powerful, clean and dependable amp to get these. I have been quoted in the thousands of dollars for the Crown, QSC and the Label high dollar brands, but truth is I have no need, cause these amp have impressed me well. Save your money, find a good local store if you like, buy these and try them out. If you don't like them, return them before the return policy expires, but I doubt you will.

This packs a pUNCH, low noise though speakers SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THIS SOONER
I have a total of 3 amps, 3 sets of speakers depending on the environment I am in THIS AMP PACKS THE MOST PUNCH and pushes my 1000watt 8ohm speakers well Crisp clear sound! Pause the music and no hum! nothing worse than that Will say, when choosing an EQ don't cheap out! Same with amps. I replaced an older amp due to the noise it produced. this amp has some weight to it, but by far is my fav in my current line up, and choose it over the last 4 i have used in the past! should have done it sooner

Bought this to power some (very) old Peavey speakers we use when we are doing outdoor gigs/small festivals to supplement our RCF Active PA. Previously we had used another method of powering the speakers and the sound, although loud, was never really clear and spoilt the quality we were getting from the main speakers. The difference when we switched to this amp was phenomenal ... clear and very loud, with a good mix of top and bottom end and we have been able to boost the volume massively with no loss of quality. Behringer come in for a lot of stick, but, as I have mentioned elsewhere when I bought their gear, I think it is underserved and have been using Behringer gear alongside top quality brands for years and have never been let down either in sound quality or reliability. A similar amp of this power would cost a lot more from one of the more "respected" makes, but for me, who only uses it a few times a year, it is perfect. Easy to use, bl**dy heavy (I have it flight-cased individually ... two of these in one case would be a killer!), and fan noisy but still OK for indoors (and outdoors not a problem). Well worth the money.
