This is so well made I felt comfortable trying all kinds of different positions
I weigh 250lb and worried that I would have to hold my breath every time I moved for fear of tearing the hammock. Not so! This is so well made I felt comfortable trying all kinds of different positions. There is plenty of room so I was able to get comfortable and not feel claustrophobic. Initial quality on unpacking looked good, feels good in the hand, etc. Sleeping in it made me a believer. I also washed it this weekend (in oxyclean -- long story). No color fade and feels as good as new. This is not an inexpensive hammock so I expected something very high quality. Part of the equation for me is the reputation of the company and support. If it lasts as long as I hope it will I think this is a fair exchange of money for quality. I keep it in my truck all the time now. I tie one end to the roof rack and the other to a tree.

Nice!
It was my first time spending the night in a hammock. I was comfortable enough. It rained during the night and with the cover I stayed relaxed and dry. In addition, the netting allowed for nice air flow, and I was not bothered by mosquitoes flying around outside. Inside, there is a little catchall above you on the support. This was a pleasant surprise. I was able to put a flashlight along with several other things in it and not have them rolling around where I was laying. Putting the hammock and cover up took very little time and presented no problem. All in all, I'm glad I bought the Hennessy Hammock. It is well made and should last me several years.

Awesome
This thing is great. It set up quickly, its sturdy, comfortable and well made. I usually don't need the tarp but it is also easy to set up when necessary. Everything fits back into its bag pretty easily. I got some longer straps because I am too lazy to repeatedly tie it off but that just made it better in my opinion. I have used it several weeks for days at a time and it still doesn't look worn and all the stitching and zippers look/work good. Have yet to have an mosquito get me while I am in it and a few places had a lot of them around, so I would probably have given it 5 stars just for that.

Scout Dad
I have been camping a lot with my sons in Boy Scouts and have used a tent with various sleeping pads. I had back surgery 5 years ago, and weigh 260 lbs and have a real hard time getting comfortable on the ground. The pressure points really do me in. I read about hammock camping and decided to give it a try. I used the Hennessey Jungle Safari Zip on the next campout. The first night was different because I did not hange the hammock evenly and found myself not being able to get comfortable. The next day I adjusted the hammock and was able to lay flat on a 30 degree angle that night. It was the most comfortable sleeping night camping I have ever had. I will only use my hammock from now on. There was a bad thunderstorm that second night with 30 mph winds and I stayed completely dry. It was amazing.

Love it.
My first experience with hammock camping was excellent. The Hennesey Jungle Safari Zip is made with high quality materials and workmanship. I watched some youtube videos for setup and chose to use Gorilla straps/Caribiners as well as using two rappel rings on one end to easily tighten the hammock, which worked perfectly. I also used a separate cord for the rain fly, which placed the rain fly a few inches higher than the hammock ridgeline, giving some breathing room and allowing breeze into the hammock. The hex rain fly that comes with this model is large and covers the hammock very well. I'm 6'1" and about 230lbs and I was quite comfortable, able to sleep on my back and also on my side which was excellent.

Just okay
Wish it came with better straps for the money. Not as easy as many other brands strap system, not even close. Fly could be shaped better, wind can bring moisture in. Hammock itself it nice, love the shelf for flat sleeping. Mine was thick, so got hot under you in summer. Suppose fall camping would benefit. Bug netting works well.

Best way to sleep solo at camp
Exceptional hangs from Hennessy Hammocks. Can't recommend the zip version of these hammocks enough. I would suggest getting the sleeping pad that Hennessy has designed the double floor for. The snakeskins are a must too.

Great hammock best i have ever used
I may never sleep in another bed again. I've used several different hammocks before and even the smaller Hennessy hammocks before but due to the size of this it's by far the best hammock I have ever used. I set it up expecting the rope to stretch which it did. I think after a few more nights most the rope stretch will be gone
