easily popped this under a 12 foot long runner rug directly in a heavy traffic area in living room. Flooring is commercial grade thick synthetic with a smooth non-reflective surface finish.made the runner FAR LESS SLIDE-Y than it would have been -- although I do have to scoot it back an inch or so into its exact place maybe once a week. No hassle. Meaning it will NOT SLIP if all you do is walk on the runner.The cumulative week's worth of just treading on it or across it is what puts it off by that inch.

Very happy with this purchase! The rug pad was too large for the rug that I ordered, but it was very easy to cut with scissors (I just used a large level and a sharpie to draw the line then cut with normal craft scissors).The part of the rug pad that touches the floor has a rubber feel so it sticks to my LVP with zero sliding. The part of the rug pad that touches the rug is a scratchy fiber material which clings very well to the bottom of my rug. It definitely made my rug much more comfortable to walk on. The rug pad itself is a dark gray color.I will be buying more when the time comes and would recommend this product!

Summary: made in America, good quality, order a size down for no cutting.Made in America. Perfect fit for me! I should say that I read the reviews and saw that it comes a bit bigger. So for my 7x10 rug I ordered the 6x9 and it is the perfect fit! Instantly improved the feel by adding a quality underfoot sturdiness coupled with an extra little give of thickness. I opted for the 1/4 in. I would love the 1/2 in but then you would have to remove a couple of inches along two sides inorder to avoid the rug being obviously elevated from the gap it would create between the floor and the rug. This is what I will do the next time I purchase this for my bedroom.Hope this helps someone.

The first one I ordered was horrible. The corner of it was all wrinkled up and no matter what I would do, it wouldn't lay flat. It was very stretched out and was not squared off. I was surprised that I would receive something like that from Mohawk. I did a return for that one and they replaced it. The second one I got was perfect. It's thicker than I thought it would be and provides a pretty good cushion. It's great for the carpet that has been sliding around for years. I've tried everything else, and I'm so glad I found this. I would recommend this. The two pictures are the bad one, the next pictures are the good one.

I don't usually write reviews, but as I believe this is a safety issue I felt it was my moral obligation to write it.I ordered several of these Mohawk Home Non-Slip Rug Pads during January and February of 2024. The odor is nauseating. I put them outside during the day to air them out but it didn't help at all. The disgusting smell began to increase throughout my house and I couldn't get the odor to go away. I woke up in the middle of the night and had to run into the bathroom feeling light-headed and nauseous. I reported this directly to Mohawk and I was told they recently had a "bad batch," and they believed the odor was most likely caused by contaminated dye that was added to the latex for color.The smell intensified, especially while my heat was on, so I had a service call with an HVAC/Duct company. He explained that the odor from the rug pads was blown throughout my house when the heat was on and then the return vent sucked up the air sending it back to my heating system which then circulated the horrific-smelling air throughout my entire house. He cleaned and deodorized the HVAC system which helped somewhat, but the smell lingers in my furniture, rugs, blankets, etc. I have been washing everything non-stop and have sprayed Febreze everywhere. I looked back through the Amazon reviews about these Mohawk rug pads and I have found many other people complaining about the dreadful stench, and this goes all the way back to 2020. So the reason given to me by Mohawk for the atrocious odor being caused by a "bad batch" that recently occurred is not only unacceptable but complete hogwash.I contacted the EPA as well as filed a complaint with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission about this issue. It is well known that VOCs, Volatile Organic Compounds, are found in many products, including rug pads, and can lead to poor indoor air quality causing numerous issues including respiratory symptoms. VOCs can be carcinogenic to human beings. I have been nauseated, dizzy, and cannot get this sickening odor out of my house. I have tried using strong mouthwash, chewing peppermint gum, and drinking peppermint tea but I cannot get that horrific smell out of my nose or respiratory tract that has come from these disgusting Mohawk rug pads.I am grateful to Amazon for refunding my money for the four Mohawk Home Non-Slip Rug Pads, but I am concerned that nothing was done to resolve the real issue, the safety issue of these rug pads. I recommended to Amazon that they take the rug pads off of their site immediately and I am hopeful that they will. I recontacted Mohawk yesterday, March 18, 2024, via email, sending them the Amazon reviews with odor issues as far back as 2020 and the response I got was, "This was from 2020 and these people might have some kind of "allergy" that make them more sensitive to certain things." They have swept the rug pad odor issue under the rug. No pun intended. I am extremely dissatisfied with Mohawk and will never purchase anything from the company again.

Works great for holding couch cushions in place. I have a sectional couch where there is nothing to keep the cushion on at one point.cut this to fit under two cushions, and it holds them firmly in place. Cut reasonably easy with a good set of kitchen scissors.

I bought the 1/4” dual surface rug pad, and I love it! A quarter inch pad really makes a difference, and I think thicker might be too much. It adds plushness to my rug and it makes my rug look better quality with the pad underneath. Mine had no smell at all. It is dense and well-made. This is my first rug pad purchase, and I am super happy with this one and would buy it again.

Thick, durable, plush. Rug doesn't move.. like AT ALL. You have to really try. I did trim it back a bit with scissors so that my rug slightly came over the edge so you don't trip on the edge.
