Classic Basketball Rim, Will Not Fit Other Brands, 18 Inch, Orange

This is made of real steel and its heavy. so if you plan to hang on to some drywall, please think twice. it comes with nuts and bolts to install. I ended up installing on to a drywall inside my garage. (due to association rules) what i did was fix this onto a 2(1X2)s, fix a 2X4 on to drywall.then install couple of heavy guage hooks to 1X2's and hang this to the 2X4. to protect the drywall, i used few furniture pads that i got from costco to stick to the 1X2s.I know this is not ideal setup, but my daughter is only 7 and doesnt use a real basket ball. i will post pictures so it helps my description.

When my rim broke, I honestly couldn’t believe it. Especially considering it had only been used for a year and some change. By comparison, I got a hoop for Xmas when I was 4. Extremely heavy use daily, including dunking, until I was 16-17. Never had to replace the rim. Zero issues with it. They truly don’t make stuff like they used to. For what it is, it works. Installation is a little more complicated than it needs to be, as some of the areas you need to get to are hard to reach. Took me around 25-30min by myself. Would definitely recommend having someone help you if you can. Would be much easier. It’s been durable so far, but considering the original only lasted a year and some change, I don’t expect this one to fair all that much better. Unfortunate, but that’s the world we live in nowadays. Great, well-made products last too long. More profitable for companies to make passable to decent products that break fairly quickly.

Very heavy duty and well made - great coloring! Not giving this a 5 star rating as the bottom of the "bolt connector flat spot" has a small lip on the bottom of it. Not sure why this was designed into the product, but it makes it a little difficult to tighten the bottom two bolts. bolt holes fit perfect with the previous rim

Well worth a couple extra bucks for a well made rim. I installed it on a wooden backbaoard so I used different size bolts to make it work. Highly recommend this product

A slam dunk of a product! Very solid, and it came with a net. Really solid, sturdy and easy to attach. It also came with mounting hardware, which was helpful. I actually used this for my daugher's pumpkin decorating contest at her school - she decorated a pumpkin as a basketball, and I took the rim and net and mounted it to a 5 gallon bucket (with sand bags inside). She wants me to put it up in the driveway or on the side of the house later.

My kids and I have been shooting and playing on it for the past 2 months and we have had no issues, I would buy again in a couple years if this one breaks

I can't dunk, not even close. Who can? Almost no one, right? So why do all Lifetime systems come with springy complex dunk-proof hoops? This is a replacement for one of those, needed 2 aftermarket bolts to attach it but it's up there and works great.
