This diffuser roll is exactly what I needed to finish off my LED lighting install — and the results are even better than I expected (see pics). It instantly gave my workspace a clean, polished, high-end look by softening the harshness of the raw LED strips and blending the light beautifully. The material is flexible but sturdy, easy to cut to length, and it wraps or presses into channels smoothly. I installed mine in a garage studio setup with exposed beams and insulation, and the diffused glow it produces adds a sleek, modern vibe. It really helps eliminate that "dot effect" from the bare diodes and creates a smooth, continuous line of light. Keep in mind, this is just the diffuser, not the LED strip — but if you already have your lights, this is the perfect upgrade. It takes your lighting from “DIY” to designer-level. Honestly, I don't know why I didn’t add this sooner. Highly recommend for anyone looking to step up the visual quality of their LED lighting installs. Worth every penny.

Worked great covering my LED strips for light show. Nice dispersion and handled the sun good.

Yes and no. This does not diffuse the light where you won't see the dots. It does diffuse it slightly. Now if you give it distance from the strips it will help significantly. I ended up using a ton of silicone as they were buried in a gap. So it worked like that. But no this is not the solution to your problem if you are trying to totally diffuse the dots. The picture should show you what I'm talking about. This is without silicone. In theory you can use a translucent chaulk which will help further defuse.... The pictures led strips that are about 5/16 deep inside a piece of melamine. You can see at this dept its actually defusing decently. I didn't buy these to use with their housing. Just bought it as a cover. But yes I do recommend this for this particular application. Just reminder if you need it to defuse... Give it dept and the dots will disappear.
