Excellent light roast
I love Ethiopian light roasts and this one is one of my favorites. It’s organic which is a must, whole beans. It’s mild and smooth and perfect. Definitely recommend if you like light roast.

Pretty good, especially for the price
I generally buy single origin coffee from local or small roasteries, but I saw this one and decided to try it. It's better than I was expecting, especially for the price. Somewhat complex and the roast level is not overwhelming.

Different than what I'm used to, but delicious
This purchase was my first venture into a single origin coffee been. I used both a French press and a chemex to brew.In the past I've stuck to wherever dark roast beans I could find at the store. So I was very surprised by the flavor of this medium roast. The coffee had a floral/ fruity aroma and flavor. It was jarring at first, but I grew to really enjoy the unique flavor.I highly recommend this coffee to anybody wanting to try something different then the coffee you've had for your whole life. I look forward to trying Groundwork's other beans to see what other flavors I've been missing.

Ethiopian is light roast, and delicious
Description says medium, it’s definitely light, and I’m glad! No wasted flavor on heavy roasting methods that just taste burnt. This is a great option if you want organic whole bean light roast coffee with the fun typical Ethiopian flavor. Definitely recommend

Dust Storm
This product, using the “Commondante” hand grinder, created a dusty mess—even on coarse grind.

The batch I received is not very flavorful
This bag is lacking in the fruit and floral flavors that this Ethiopian is known for. There is almost no aroma which is surprising for a medium roast. It has a slight citrus flavor and almost no sweetness. I've been using an Aeropress with it and I may try using a pour over method to see if I can extract some goodness out of these beans. I'm a little disappointed because Groundwork has a decent reputation.
