I had to use permatex red ( high temperature sealant ) to seal whare the exhaust pipe connects to the heater to prevent smoke in the cabin. This was not in the directions. It heats the cabin well I wish it had a way to add a thermostat for air temp or water temperature control, but I known that when I got it. This little bit of work would make this a amazing product but it was still good bang for the buck. The tank provided needs pipe tape to get it to seal and the risk of spilling it in the van. I decided to use a portable boat fuel tank instead with quick disconnect. It was a bit noisy till in a cabinet all you can hear afterwards is the fuel pump ticking and the sound of air blowing.

Absolutely doesn't work for providing hot water to an RV. False advertising
