I was hoping this book would further my knowledge on the details of Greek mythology. There was a slight concern that it may just be a collection of quotes from manuscripts leaving us to decipher the language for ourselves, but that was not the case at all. The book has a flow that explains the sequence of the Greek myths beginning from chaos, the creation and so on. The sources of the myths are all put together for you, the reader, so that we can follow it like a story. References prominently mentioned, should we want to research a particular myth.The quality of the physical book and print quality are okay, nothing exceptional. With more than 700 pages of information, a few illustrations placed as eye-catchers would have been nice, but that is a luxury I can live without. There are a couple of maps in there showing locations, which help bring the journeys to life.Delivered 5 days before the expected date, well packaged. A complete one stop resource for all your Greek myths and legends. For the price, it is a steal.

The book in it's entirety is beautiful and one of the most valuable collection of mythical factualism. But the actual price of the book is 899 whereas it is exaggerated here on Amazon as the MRP of 1000+

The book is a classic edition and also one of the few books giving a detailed account on Grecian Mythology. It acts as a guidebook, dictionary, or a plain story book. It will be helpful to scholars, researchers or story readers. Excellent page quality, binding, cover. Font size is also good. Quick delivery by Amazon within 3 days. No complaints. The book is a steal for only Rs. 544 when the printed price is Rs. 899.

The "Swift Footed" writing from Graves.. I am lucky enough having this most valuable asset of my library. I love Greek characters and theri heroics from childhood, here now I am getting the detail infos of their past and origins. The value of this book never measured by money.

I have both the print version and the kindle e-book. Love every bit of the content and how informative and truly complete it is. I bought the hardcopy because of how beautiful the cover looks and ease of writing notes.But the quality of the pages and printing is very very poor making it a very bad experience to read from the hardcopy. Almost the same quality as pirated prints.So, might be worth the amount for the content but you’d rather buy the e-book.
