I got this for my nephew, when he is not home in his high chair. It’s good for any straight back chair to keep him secure to be fed. His mother said it was the best gift he had received…

We have an almost 2 yr old grandson that uses this....I'd say from 12-18 months and up. The straps are adjustable and could fit up to a small 3 or 4 yr old; however, I don't think an older toddler would require this.

Q: Has anyone tried this with a 6 month old who still needs support sitting up? Is it secure enough?

We have two of these and use with bar stools so they are high like a high chair. We have a 5 month old and 9 month old great grandchildren. They worked very well for both children. They do need to be old enough to support their head.

Q: Can i use this in flight? Will it fit a plane seat for my 14 month DD

I would say no, on top of that it's not approved for flight travel so you will likely not be able to use it, as most flight staff are trained to which products contain the approved use (ie. Car Seat / Bassinet).
