Meister Professional Heavy Bag Spring for Punching Bags up to 250lb - Black

I'm using this with my Goplus 110 pound water bag and BeneLabel hanger, it's great. It's giving the spring I need but and is looking very strong. I used two large washers I had on hand to lessen the sliding.

I’ve had a punching bag that’s hung on my garage support beam for years but my family knew when I worked out since the house would shake so out of curtesy I’d have to hold my punches. Decided to buys this to see if it made a difference and now I can go all out and the house doesn’t shake. Real deal!

It holds my 100lb heavy bag without any issues. It seriously dampens the sound and vibrations when striking the bag. Doesn't cause excessive bounce or swing in the bag.

I purchased the spring for use with 100 pound punching bag suspended from the ceiling of my garage. I found that it provides the right amount of suspension to hold a bag up properly, while also providing ample shock absorption to limit shaking and rattling on the ceiling above. Good product.

Added this to my heavy bag in the garage so I don't shake the house as much. It's very heavy duty and does a good job damping the blows.

Would be better if it was a rising rate spring. So that it absorbs shocks that are light, medium and heavy. Right now it only absorbs big shocks. What you get is still a pretty noisy workout when the heavy bag jumps on the chain under lighter strikes. Fantastic on the big strikes. My heavy bag hangs on floor joists in the basement so if the bag starts jumping, it really makes noise upstairs in the house. This spring definitely helps reduce that, I just wish it was more progressive instead of only stretching at say, 300lbs and above (not actual force). So if yr bag is jumping at [250lbs] of force on the spring, the spring doesn't stretch/absorb. Just my opinion. overall really appreciate this device.
