Hi, Motor has up to 150 lbs capacity. Usable length of the spit rod is 52" so because of that you will be able to cook up to 80 lbs pig. If you need sometime more than that then you should choose our 62" unit.

Can i run the unit on a 390 degrees temperature?

Hi, This unit is designed for slow cooking on low temperature. Great for spit roasting and smoking on low temperature. You can not use this unit on high temperatures like, grilling steaks. Required cooking temperature is no more then 250 degrees.
