I bought this mat almost three years ago and am still thrilled with it. It is huge! As a beginner working out, it is great when doing yoga to not fond yourself suddenly off the mat. If more advanced, it is easy to set up for circuits. I used it for stretching, yoga, pilates, bosu and terra core workouts. It is versatile. It is durable - I've used with and without shoes, moved with it 3 times, and set equipment on it. It is thicker than a usual yoga mat, but not so think that you feel like you are on a balance mat. It is easy to store or set up if you don't have space to leave it out. It had a mild smell when I first got it, but it resolved in a few days. I just use regular yoga mat cleaner and have even vacuumed it from time to time (I have cats). I've recommended it to many friends and highly suggest that of you are looking for a workout mat that you consider this. I'm super satisfied (I admit a little annoyed my husband likes to borrow it for his warm-ups abd some weight lifting)!

***UPDATE*** I ordered the wrong kind of mat for the exercises I was doing. The company contacted me and sent me a brand new mat, this time the exercise mat as opposed to this yoga mat and it is AMAZING. Buy this yoga mat if you want light exercise and no shoe workouts/yoga. It is very soft and cushiony. Order their exercise mat if you want a durable mat to use with shoes and weights. The company was phenomenal to deal with and I will continue to use them in the future. Previous review* Honestly I’m shocked at the positive reviews.... this mat is the least durable mat I have ever owned. Two days in and there were scuffs. The mat is a LOT thinner than advertised. Honestly just disappointed and don’t want anyone else to make the same mistake I did and purchase this mat based off of reviews.

Lasted about 3 years and then it started peeling from high intensity training workouts and now it's unusable. We didn't use sneakers on it either.

I've been working on building up a home gym/workout area and this was a must-have to protect my floors. The mat came rolled up in a protective bag that can be used to store it. It also came with a pair of lifting gloves (pictured) which was an unexpected surprise. The thickness is perfect for doing exercises such as squats and crunches, as well as protecting my floors from dumbbells and weight bench. I would say this mat is best for regular use, including weightlifting, cardio, and stretching. I have my kettlebells and weight bench on it as well, and there are indents when I move my equipment, but the indents quickly bounce back to the form of the mat. I did my research on gym mats for quality and affordability, and I'm very pleased with this product.
