I have a brand new 2025 GE Cafe Induction stovetop and purchased this item to work with my older non-induction pots. The stovetop will turn off when it does not detect a proper piece of conduction cookware. The stove is amazing. This product, however, is not. The stove will detect the plate for a few minutes and then turn off. While it stays on for those few minutes, the water I was trying to boil did not get very hot. Spent 60 minutes trying to boil water for mac and cheese and had to give up. Sent in for a return. Does not work.

[I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Amazon Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.] I recently requested the 10.2-inch Stainless Steel Plate with Detachable Handle from Grourarty, and I am absolutely thrilled with its performance. This Heat Induction Adapter Plate has become an indispensable addition to my kitchen, particularly for my induction stove. The even heat distribution is a game-changer – no more hot spots or worrying about warping. This adapter plate has truly transformed my cooking experience, allowing me to simmer food to perfection with fantastic results. The detachable handle is an added bonus, providing a secure grip and making it easy to carry pans without any concerns. The versatility of this plate is impressive; it's not limited to a single appliance. I've only used it with my induction hob so far, but I can’t wait to try it on other appliances. The durability of the product is evident, and it has quickly become my go-to tool for a wide range of cooking tasks. I appreciate the commitment to quality with the upgrade in material to 100% premium 430 Stainless Steel. The improved heat distribution ensures that the natural taste of food is preserved, providing an enhanced cooking experience. There’s no chemical or metallic taste to the food I cook on it. The thoughtful design of this heat diffuser plate is not only practical but also a cost-effective solution. I no longer need to buy expensive induction pans, as this gadget allows me to use most of my existing cookware on any induction surface. Maintaining the cleanliness of this adapter plate is a breeze. The burner cover prevents staining, and I love that they are dishwasher-friendly. Given its impressive heat conductivity, the plate cools down relatively quickly after use, allowing for easy post-cooking cleanup. If you can’t wait, though, there is an attachable handle included for added safety. In summary, the Grourarty Heat Induction Adapter Plate has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It's a must-have for anyone with an induction stove, offering unmatched performance, versatility, and durability. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to save when it comes to expensive induction pans!

Although most of my cookware is ferromagnetic, I have a few vintage Corning pots and pans that I have wanted to use occasionally, and this plate clearly will work at high power and temperature on large induction burners. It does not heat as rapidly when transferring heat to glass. A small amount of water took almost 5 minutes to boil. For me, it will likely be used in the med to med/high range. Other notes: The heat from the cook-top did discolor the plate; turning it a pale bronze. The uniform discoloration is a sign of good heat distribution. Another note is that the plate does retain heat more so than other steel pots that I have used. I noticed this when the burner was turned off, and the water continued to boil for almost a full minute. In other induction pots I have used, the water would stop boiling immediately after turning off the burner. This could be an issue if the plate was suddenly placed under cold water, as it could cause warping to occur. Tip: I noticed that the plate is slightly off level with the handle inserted. Remove the handle when in use. (don't pay any attention the the photographs) Overall, the plate does what I expected and seems thick enough to avoid warping with normal use, and the price at the time of this review appears comparable to other similarly sized induction plates

I have both a conventional gas hob as well as an induction hob and have used this on both. On the gas hob, it took a little longer to heat up than on the induction hob, purely on the way they both function. The good thing about this is that it can heat up your food evenly without damaging your cookware as it does not allow direct heat and thus won't burn. The steel plate is quite thick and heavy and is very well made and polished very well, as you can see in the images. The plate has a detatchable handle also along with engraving on the top Caution : HOT SURFACE. On this plate, I can even warm up my flat bread or chappati. Cleaning this plate is very easy with very little effort needed. I'm very satisfied with this hot plate.
