I lost this CD many years ago and so happy I found it. When I need calm, I always play this CD. I would recommend.

I’ve had some of his later albums for years, this one is fun as you can see him trying out various things that become more seamless in later albums. Great addition to my collection.

Maybe I've been living under a rock somewhere, but this music is all new to me and I'm blown away! Closing the gap in time and recognizing beauty in a relationship between the rhythms and sound effects of 21st century techno combined with the timeless passion of 19th century opera is an incredible concept! Equally balanced and not overpowering, it's the best of both worlds. This music will take you places if you let it! Even if you thought you'd never enjoy opera... this may change your mind!! I had this cd in high school and lost it somewhere along the way. I love the music as much as I remember, great for background music while drawing or cleaning!

Musically interesting. Lavish arrangements. Good quality audio. Goes too far toward pop for my taste.

Sexy. Some songs I skip over. but when I heard this for the first time in around 2002... wow. big fan.

You've never heard interpretations such as are recorded here. I turn off everything else and simply enjoy the singing and the amazing renditions of the music that accompanies her.
