Better Living Products 76344-1 Euro Series TRIO 3-Chamber Soap and Shower Dispenser, Chrome

18 years ago I bought a house with one of these in it. It worked for a while. When it stopped working, I let it just sit there. I was too lazy to take it off. I began using it to put things on top of. Two days ago, I decided to look on Amazon for a replacement, resigned to the fact that I would have to take it off and do a complete reinstallation of another model. To my surprise, I found the exact same model is still available. I have no idea why it didn’t look for a replacement sooner. So here you have it. A picture of the old one I took off beside the new one that just slid right into place on the old bracket. I am back in business and it could not have been easier. No installation required since the old bracket was already secured to the shower wall. The adhesive obviously works really great because the old bracket has been on the wall for I have no idea how long over 18 years. The plastic is very durable because it never broke in all that time. Just the inside pumps seemed to stop working. The capacity is huge. The heavy duty plastic material it is made from is easy to wipe clean. It comes with a sheet of alternate labels in case you are using different products. There is included that he’s in in case you need to install the bracket that comes with it. In the directions are very clear. I noticed that this also comes in a brushed aluminum finish and a white finish. But I got the chrome finish that matches the bathroom and it is an exact replacement for what I already had.

This is terrific! I wish I would have gotten this sooner. I installed (stuck to wall of shower) and 24 hours later filled it up. Works like a charm. I did the prepping of the pump buttons, but nothing came out. Later I came back to take shower and they all worked fine. Followed the directions and it was easy to install and refill. Holds a lot of soaps. It also fit fine into my RV sized shower.

We installed two of these in our walk-in shower -- a 3-section unit for me and a 2-section unit for my husband. We like the looks of them, the convenience, and even the way the base adheres so well to the tiled shower wall. So why only 3 stars for adhesion? Because despite the base staying firmly on the wall, the unit that holds the shower products is not as stable. My husband accidentally knocked it off the base on the first day, and the unit cracked, resulting in most of his shampoo going down the drain. I brushed against the other one while washing my hair, but I caught it as it started to fall off. We're far more careful now, but they shouldn't come off quite so easily -- these were nudges, not body slams. User tip: When you install it, don't give up on getting product out. The thicker body washes, especially, take a LOT of priming, but eventually they get through. (A LOT = dozens of pumps . . . even 100+. You'll hear it finally start to come through.)

Product fell off the mounting tape and caused total loss of expensive shampoo, body wash and conditioner worth a lot more than this dispenser. I had loaded one bottle of each and they were all gone down the drain. The back plate was mounted using 8 inches of 3m extreme mounting tape that is rated for 2 lbs per square inch. So that's 16 lbs, much less than the weight of this dispenser and its contents. In hindsight, the back plate has large perforations and is made of slippery plastic that is unfit for mounting without screws. No way the supplied glue and sticky tape would have held either. I've mounted much heavier mirrors in the bathroom and even tools to the wall with the 3m tape. My best guess that the quality control is poor and there are mould release agents or lubricants which weren't completely stripped off at the factory. Big oversight. I didn't find anything wrong with the dispenser itself. It did work great the 2 days that I used it. Update 01/03/2019: I called the company on their 1800 number on their website. They answered on the first ring and were very gracious. Unlike most companies, the reps I spoke to were based out of America. They also did not transfer me back and forth. Very commendable. Unfortunately, when I told the rep what happened her tone changed immediately and I sensed that they get this a lot. The rep immediately offered me a free replacement which I politely declined. I had some expensive products in this dispenser and when I asked them to compensate me the rep quickly transferred me to the next level. (I'm not petty but I could easily purchase 4 of these dispensers with how much I lost in product.) This lady was also very polite but sounded pretty jaded from the get to. She pretty much told me that they do not warrant faulty installations. When I informed her that I used an excess of 3M Extreme mounting tape, her answer was that they can't help because I used a third party product to mount their product. I politely informed her that mirrors mounted in my bathroom using this tape have held on for years but she wasn't having it. When I asked her about all the complaints on amazon of this specific dispenser falling off when mounted using the adhesives they've supplied, her answer was that they were all installed incorrectly with the silicone adhesive applied over the sticky tape. Huh? I see 17% reviews here are 1 star mostly due to the same catastrophic issue and everyone is installing it incorrectly? Based on my experience, I think this is a fluke product from an otherwise great company. I have heard of their brand before (can't remember where) and was really disappointed. My guess is they have excess inventory of this sku and they are trying to get rid of it. It is a neat looking product that would cost a lot more than 8 bucks but even Mercedes Benz made a few bad cars back in the day. I wish them all the best, but for me, once bitten is twice shy.

I've had this for less than a year and I'm already having to replace it. It randomly started leaking all my product (it has not been hit or damaged in anyway by me). It cracks super easily, over the time I've had it random cracks have appeared where the lid is placed, and I have not been rough on this product at all. I would recommend going with a higher quality item for longevity.
