A laser shoots out of the Vulpes, bounces off your target and returns back. The Vulpes times how long the laser takes to return to the unit, and from this can work out how far away the target is. It re-measures every second.

How does digital night vision work?

The Vulpes emits infrared light (IR) using two LEDs, invisible to humans. A digital sensor picks up the IR. The image displays on a screen in the viewfinder.

The Vulpes measures 7.2” x 5.5” x 3”, or 197*140*75mm. It weighs 635g, or 22.4 oz.

How is it powered and recharged?

The Vulpes has two LG-cell 3200mAh batteries installed, giving a total capacity of a massive 6400mAh. Recharge using the included micro-USB power cable.
