This is a great budget friendly wet cat food! It may not be the highest quality cat food out there since it contains meat by-products but the important part is that it is species appropriate meaning it is meat focused. There is controversy around meat by-products, even though meat by-products may not be as good quality of meat, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad for cats. Many cats thrive with Fancy Feast food and my cats really enjoy it. We only get 3 recipes from fancy feast, the red can, purple can and green can since they are free of fish. Overall, if you want a good, budget friendly wet cat food, this is great!

Fancy Feast is an excellent brand. I was pleased to see that what I received in my order was undamaged and fresh, with a far-off use-by date. The cats LOVE this flavor and happily eat their share....then try to filch some from each other. Fancy Feast pates are all low carb (this is per Fancy Feast, but can also be confirmed using the conversion formula). One of our cats is diabetic, so reducing carbs as much as possible is very important. Fancy Feast does the job for us.
