MTP-V004L-1B2 Men's Stainless Steel Brown Leather Band Black Dial Date Watch

Bought for a friend as a gift. Now every time I see them they’re wearing the watch. Looks great and is very affordable highly recommend.

This is an attractive and well-functioning simple men’s watch. Unless you’re going for watches that are jewelry, which I don’t want, or some fancy timepiece with practical and specific functions, I don’t see why anyone would spend more when this watch is so affordable. A replacement band is almost as much! It’s priced at disposable levels. Amazing!

Agree with many of the comments here about simplicity, value and accuracy of this quartz movement. The watch case has a solid heft, luminescent hands and a date complication. Numbers are big and easy to read against the darker dial. Didn’t care for the color or quality of the cheap vinyl band, so an upgraded leather strap was necessary. Seems to be keeping good time over the last 48 hours, and I’m pleased to add this practical timepiece to my daily wear collection. Will update performance after wearing it for awhile.

Simple, sleek, has heft, but isn't obnoxious and huge, I've never had to adjust the time, its always dead on. I didn't care for the band that came with it so I spent a few extra bucks and got a dark brown leather band and now there isn't a single thing I would change. Killer watch!!

The Casio MTP-V004L-1B2 Men's Watch is one cool-looking timepiece! The black dial really pops against the stainless steel case and brown leather band. It's got a reliable quartz movement and even a handy date function. Perfect for everyday wear, it's a stylish and practical choice for any dude out there.

I wasn’t sure I could go for something this bold, with huge numerals inside a faux-diver’s-watch bezel. But I have found that it works. The ivory-colored hour markers play well against the black face, and the assertiveness of the watch grows on you. However, the wishy-washy tan strap that comes with the watch diminishes this effect even if it doesn’t create an unintentionally comic vibe. The solution, as others have noted, is to swap out the band. I scavenged an old one off a dead MVMT watch, see photo. Note that the lume is on the weak side. I have a cheaper easy-reader Casio that glows brighter.

Great price for such a nice and super reliable watch. The second hand even hit all the second marks. Just wow! Get it. You will not regret.

Very nice watch. Good size and proportions (not too thick, which was a concern of mine). Feels very well built, as I had hoped - this was one of the main reasons I chose it over a similarly priced Chinese brands. Highly polished case - I generally prefer matt, but this works well. The face has a subtle pattern to it and almost looks dark brown rather than black (I can't quite decide...). Numerals and hands are cream coloured and the effect is good - better than sharp white, I think. Overall style is reminiscent of a Panerai without being an obvious copy (and in any case, it has CASIO in large letters on the dial, so no one is going to mistake it for one). The strap is almost certainly plastic, not leather, and is a rather peculiar caramel colour. I have already ordered a replacement, although it is not as bad as I had feared. I strongly believe that the best way of upgrading a cheap watch is with a good replacement strap and I have ordered a chunky vintage-effect leather one, although I think a NATO strap or a silicone diver strap would also work well. Even including the cost of the replacement strap, this is an excellent value for money watch which I shall be happy to wear with no embarrassment at all in any setting.

Unico neo il cinturino risulta piccolo per chi ha polsi grossi, io devo usare l'ultimo buco del cinturino e risulta un po' scomodo. 1 stella per il corriere che ha schiacciato la scatola talmente tanto da riuscire a rompere anche la confezione all'interno, per fortuna l'orologio era integro!

Used for golf and pickle ball.Great watch for the price.
