EFP Shop Vac Hose 1 1/4 Inch Opening, 15 Ft Long - 1 1/4 Vacuum Hose Shop Replacement Craftsman Vacuum Vac Replacement Parts

I have a 16 gallon Craftsman shopvac and this allows me to attach it to the dust port on my Dewalt miter saw. It’s the perfect pair. There is still a very small amount of dust due to the design of the dust port on the saw, so not something I can fault this hose for.

I have had three shop vacs in my life. I just got rid of the first two (one about 40 years old, one about 20) in favor of a way larger and way more powerful one. This one, for better or worse came with the large diameter hose. The other two had ~5' long small diameter hoses. The small diameter ones were much more user friendly in terms of vacuuming out the cars, the dryer lint trap, etc. but they were short and stiff and, as they got older, were prone to kinking. The large hose, while better for cleaning up the garage, sawdust off the bench saw, was really cumbersome for the more mundane, day to day stuff. I found and ordered this hose. What I did not realize is that it would take a couple of weeks to arrive. Worth the wait Fits perfectly in the intake hole on the new vac (does tend to whistle a bit as the vac is drawing a lot of air through this smaller hose) and the standard tools fit on the other end (brush, crevice tool, etc.) It is more flexible that the ones that came with the other vacs and so far has not been prone to kinking. As I said the others were about 5' in length. This one is 15'. That means I plug in the vac, it sits in one place, and I can vacuum out the whole car. And since it is not at all stiff, easier to reach that space between the seat and the door sill with the hose draped across the seats. A long hose like this not something I thought I needed but since I was ordering a small diameter hose, went for the 15' (not all that much more than the shorter ones). Now that I have it, wish I'd had this (type) hose a long time ago.

I replaced the hose on my 10 year old shop vac. This hose is longer than the original one and more flexible. The material is softer than the old one and looks like it will be less likely to kink and crack like the old one did. So far, I'm extremely pleased with this hose.
