Perfect GoPro mount for motorcycle helmets!
I have been looking and debating on a mount for my motorcycle helmet ever since getting my GoPro Hero 10. I was worried after reading all the reviews of the cheaper alternatives breaking and falling off, and I definitely didn’t want to use one of the sticky GoPro mounts on my Shoei race helmet. Plus I’ve never really trusted a sticky mount to hold an expensive camera and hold it without it falling off at high speeds. That’s where this mount comes in! It’s just what I was looking for. It is more expensive, but the quality is leaps and bounds above the competition. It is designed extremely well, and made here in the USA. It’s super easy to install, and even has a safety lanyard that attaches to your chin strap just in case it was to come off. I took it out for a test ride tonight. It went mostly well, but did have trouble staying in place on my Shoei helmet at around 70 mph. To be fair, my Shoei is a slick helmet with a very sharp front and hardly anywhere for the grip to hold onto. It’s a race helmet, and didn’t work as well as I had hoped. With that said, it fits amazing on my HJC Rpha 11 Pro helmet like it was designed specifically for that helmet. The HJC has vents in the front, and the grip of the mount conforms right around everything. It also grips perfectly on the inside piece as well. It’s on there so strong that you can literally hold the helmet by the mount. So I will start using my HJC when I motovlog and want to use the mount. Overall, it’s a great product that will fit most helmets, but not all helmets. Great craftsmanship, and a great product!

Fantastic GoPro Mount for Riders
Bought this so I could capture footage on a week-long moto adventure with some friends. What I liked most about this mount was that it does not permanently attach to your helmet, which so many others do. I've used the stick-on mounts from GoPro on the side of my helmet but the field of view always captures part of the helmet in the image. With this mount, I could simply attach it to the front of my helmet and had a clear field of view for the camera and could remove it simply when I needed to. Another nice feature of this mount design was that I could clamp it on other area of my bike, for example on the handlebars to get a different perspective (shooting up at the rider.) This makes it more versatile than other dedicated helmet mounts. The materials, design and construction of this mount are top-notch and it feels like it will endure a lot of punishment and use. It is not some flimsy, cheap feeling product that is going to snap in-half. Sure it is expensive, but if you want a mount that works right and will last- this is it!

Very well made!
This device is awesome! Very well made, sturdy, and grips to the helmet very tightly. Even has the air port hole found on motocross helmets. Picture is the unit mounted on a Klim Carbon Pro helmet.

Very handy and quick to mount
I've waited a bit to see how this would actually work. It does a great job with my GoPro 13. I'm typically riding on rough terrain on my motorcycle and it holds the camera solid the entire time. Even when I crashed. Very easy to mount on my helmet and doesn't get in the way at all.

Good helmet mount & easy off & On
Overall I'd give the Mount a 4 out of 5 star. It clamps to the helmet tightly without damaging the helmet when connected, there is also a strap to connect to your chin strap so that if it does come off you won't lose the mount & camera connected to the item & the clamp is very easy to take off the helmet & put on & there is no adhesive to stick to the helmet & no straps that run underneath the helmet that prevent the sheild from closing all the way. I used my go pro while clamped on my helmet while riding my ZX10R about 70-80mph & it stayed on fine & didn't move around. I'll have to see how it holds u in the long run. the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the price at $50. that is alot for this & also the part of the clamp that runs underneath the helmet where the chin rests rubs up against my chin but I'm not going to have this clamped to my helmet all the time so I'll manage I guess.

Secure and lightweight
I just bought this mount and used it on my motorcycle helmet (Shoei RF1400) for a 160-odd mile adventure ride, mostly on rough dirt roads with a bit of asphalt and mild off-road thrown in. Plenty of bumps with a few hard hits, but the mount retained my Hero 11 just fine. It's strong enough for retention yet does not seem to damage the interior part of the helmet. It's well-designed for camera rotation and for clamping force. I didn't notice the weight while riding. I do think this is the best product of its type, but frankly I think it is too expensive for an item that is predominantly injection-molded plastic. Not sure if the manufacturer will be able to sustain the price once knock-offs become prevalent.

It depends on your helmet.
It really depends on the helmet you have as to if this will work or not. I don't have an off-road bucket, and it does not stay on well on an HJC C91. It moves a lot and I never felt confident in it staying on my helmet. So, I discontinued use. Is it a bad product? No, but it really is a helmet to helmet sort of thing and I didn't work for me.

Super easy to use. A reliable mount for my gopro. Just got back from the Continental Divide Adventure Ride. This mount held my gopro perfectly for 2 1/2 weeks. Allowed me to get great action shots from the bike. And makes a good hand held mount for off the bike on a table for even steadier shots or to review footage. My only concern is it blocks the switch to lift the jaw piece of my helmet. You just have to work around that. I had a routine of taking off and placing the mount with gopro on my left grip. That way I never forgot it. I highly recommend this mount.

This is an awesome idea. I have been using these for about 3 years. It allows my set up my GoPro on my helmets so I can change between helmets quickly and easily. I don’t have to modify my helmet and have bits stuck to it. I can take it off and clip it to other surfaces and rotate the camera to other angles. With the go pro media mod I can also attach a mic. If it rains I can quickly unclip it and throw it in the top box. The clip is strong and I have no problems with it falling off, even riding tracks. If it was to fall off it has a small strap that I attach to the chin strap so won’t lose anything. It does sometimes slip down a little on one of my helmets because of the materials but generally the rubber grippers work brilliantly. Highly recommended, well thought out. Well done Danjo Design!
