these work for the home do it yourself but make sure you limit your speed of your sander, I have used 3M all my life but the price really adds up so I figured I would give these a try. they worked but the quality didn't last 1/2 of the 3M pads and once they started falling apart piece went flying everywhere I still use them because I had so many in the original package I bought but I really use caution and safety glasses are a must

Good stuff
High quality pads but very abrasive so be aware when ordering. The medium is still too coarse for cleaning aluminum surfaces but fine disks (IIT 82070 Fine 2-Inch) leave the surface shiny & clean without grinding material away.
