Sobo Glass Aquarium Heater 50 watt

This is a submerged water heater, made in china, it works. there is an instructions manual, which is written in English, it could have been written better, but it conveys the message. one important point is that the since this is a submerged glass water heater, it is best that it is completely submerged in water. there is a marking on the heater which says, minimum water level, but as water evaporates, the water level might fall below the minimum mark. it is best that the heater be placed horizontally completely submerged. it is absolutely important to switch off the heater while cleaning / changing water in the aquarium, not for fear of electrical shocks, but due the possibility that the heater becomes exposed when you drain the water. if the heater is switched on in air, then the glass might crack, if the water comes in contact with the heater element due to the crack not only will you get an electric shock, but your fishes will also die. Be careful that the heater is not on when not submerged in water. The instructions manual suggests that you will have to make different settings of the temperature and keep checking (almost for a week) to see that the aquarium water is not too cold or hot. In one sentence "the heater settings are not calibrated", the set temperature might not be the water temperature. however at this cost I was not expecting a calibrated meter. overall happy with the product at the cost.

It is perfect size for my tank, I don't think it's giving enough heat , I know how to set temperature and when I check with my finger it's still chill, dono if I'm doing it wrong or the product doesn't work

very well packaging good product but performance not enough

The heater glass tube broke within a week on its own. bad quality. A heater of this quality should not be even sold as it can be so harmful for your pets. Imagine the glass broke and we were there that we saw bubbles, otherwise there was a risk of getting shock to the fishes and they could have died.

It's ok,but its very small and temperature points are on top instead of front.

Its good but handle with care or breaks easily

Does the job well for my 15 gallon tank, at 30 setting gives constant 25 c.....need to calibrate though per your tank size , max tank load supported is 18gallon I beleave

quality seems to be good, but recieved damaged piece. Glass is broken even after bubble wrap.
