So Fresh, So clean!
Now I had my doubts about buying one of these things, as they're not exactly common here in the US, but sometimes you just gotta admit there there are a few things that other countries do better than we do, and this is just one of them. I mean, think of it this way, if a tiny bit of poo were to get on you anywhere else, you wouldn't be content with cleaning it off with just some TP, would you? Well after 40 years of streaks in my drawers, I wasn't.Anyway, if you're even the least bit knowledgeable about how plumbing and pressurized water lines work, it's fairly easy to install. The only thing I had any real problem with is that I have a vanity I had to drill a hole through to run the hot water line. (and yes, living in a northern state, Hot water was a must for the winter months, which was one of the reasons I picked this model) It came with an instruction book, but again, if you know how water lines work, you probably won't need it, I never even looked at the thing and was able to install it without any trouble.Another big selling point for me was the flex lines and metal fittings that come with this thing. I looked at quite a few models before deciding to go with this one, but most of them had cheep plastic lines you have to cut yourself and make up and PVC fittings. Having these pre-made flex lines made the job that much easier and I have way more confidence that the line isn't going to blow out on me in the future. It also came with a bit of Teflon tape, but I wasn't sure there was going to be enough there, so I ordered a roll when I ordered this, rather too much than too little, though looking at the amount that was sent in the box, I reckon there might have been enough there, but I just went ahead and used the roll that I bought, it was less than $2 on here, so why not.I'd say the #1 piece of advice I could offer is, don't bother with the plastic tool they send to disconnect and connect the fittings, it just doesn't get the job done and strips out pretty easily, get yourself a good adjustable wrench or a set of box wrenches, that way you can make sure all the fittings are on good and tight. Now as far as how it works, the stream is quite strong, even on a very low setting, this is a good thing of course, but does catch you off guard at first. Turn the knob one way, and it's supposed to be for the front (for the ladies) and the other way for the back (for everyone) but out of curiosity, I had to play with both, and what I found was that they both seem to hit the same area in the back, just the one that says it's for the backside is more concentrated, while the one that says it's for the front is more spread out, but both are good for washing where I (a man) need to wash. So you ladies might be disappointed with the front feature. One pro tip I would recommend, before you use it, run the hot water in the sink for a few seconds to flush the cold water out of the line, also run the cleaning feature on the Bidet to run any remaining cold water out of the flex before you get ready to wash yourself with it, otherwise you might get blasted with nothing but cold water at first.I found reaching the controls were quite easy, even if you really can't see them from that angle, so you might want to take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with everything so you know how to feel it all out. And yes, if you reach down and turn it on, even a little, when you're not sitting on the toilet, the water will shoot out and probably hit you right in the face. Also it does raise the back of the toilet seat up a bit with it underneath it, so there is a slight angle to it, not enough to really bother me, but I might add some extended bumpers to the seat in the future just to level it out more.Overall, even though I've just installed it and tried it out, I'd say I'm pretty pleased with it, I do feel cleaner back there. I'm sure it will take a while to get use to it, hard to deprogram 40 years of habit of just using toilet paper, and I am a bit worried about how it will be received by guests using the bathroom, but considering how inexpensive this model was and how easy it was to install, I have no complaints so far.

Very nice seat with a word of caution.
I have never even thought of using a bidet before. However, this unit got good reviews and I thought I would try it. It could be returned if I did not like it. Installation was easy and fast, about 15 minutes. Usage instructions were minimal and not very informative. So, I'll give you some instructions. While you relieve yourself turn on the water supply by using the front control with the rear control in the middle position. This will allow the water to warm up if you have a long run and normally have to wait for your water to get warm at your faucet. When the water is warm, I can feel my butt getting warm, close the front control. The center control selects a rearward or more frontward spray position. Use the position that is appropriate for your sex and shape. Important, turn the control slowly, the high pressure setting will most likely be too strong for most people. Use a fairly high but not painful pressure to get the cleanest possible. When you have the pressure set to where you like it go ahead and slowly turn the back control toward the warmer setting. Stop when it is the correct temperature for you. While the pressure and temperature is correct you should move around slightly in order to have the spray hit the entire area to be cleaned. Caution, do not flush while using the bidet sprayer. This unit does not have a pressure regulator and flushing while using the sprayer will result in a very hot and unpleasant experience. When you are satisfied you are clean, return the center control to the center, off, position. Blot dry and you are finished.

Works well, and mostly easy to install.
This product has been great for my family. My son has mobility issues and we ordered this to try and see if we could make him more independent. It has worked out very well and he loves the fact that he needs no assistance in the bathroom anymore. That being said the install though not hard was not as simple as adding the included tees and moving on. My water lines from the toilet and the sink are all 1/2" IPS threads. The included tees and hoses are 3/8" compression lines. After a trip to the hardware store, I ended up with a 1/2" tee and a 1/2" -> 3/8" compression shut off valve. I ultimately decided I wanted to use shutoff valves to the bidet in the event that something went wrong I could turn off the water supply to the bidet without having to make the toilet unusable or the hot water on the sink unusable. The added benefit ended up being that I could control the water feed to the bidet which turned out can be pretty intense at full pressure, so I restricted the flow at the source somewhat. I do wish that the kit had included toilet seat risers, which are definitely needed since the added thickness of the bidet mounting hardware raises up the seat slightly at the attachment point. We are contemplating adding another bidet to our other bathroom and now that I know the exact needs for the install I can get even better tees from Amazon when I order.
