This is a high-quality, 10-year journal/diary! It is hardcover, comes in a slipcase & all -- well-made and seems "built to last." That said, it is also attractive and has a great "feel" in the hand. The paper is smooth, and the playful designs separating the months are both pleasant to see and useful. The cover has a fabric type of feel to it. The price of this item varies, both here on Amazon, and other places. The lowest price I've seen is here (where I purchased mine at quite a discount from what stationery stores online charge), but even here, the price can fluctuate quite a bit. One tip: If you'd like more room, it would be possible to make this journal a 5-year diary/journal if you wrote across the spread from one side to the other instead of down the left page and then over on the right page and down, if that makes sense? Otherwise, there is the typical space you find in small 5-year journals of this size to include 10 years of memories, thoughts, or whatever you might like to save. Higher quality than most & recommended!

High quality design and cover meets customizable blank space. Pros: The years are undated allowing you to fully customize the yearly use and includes a spot beside it for days of the week (Mon, Tue, etc) or for any word reference you'd like to use it for. You could use it for the feeling of the day if you use it at night or interesting word of the day. The book is factory packaged in a gift-like box. Amazon currently offers it cheaper than others at the time of writing. $35 for 10 years is a steal. I personally started using it as a daily writing prompt diary and it suits this need well although with small space requiring thoughtful word consideration. I'd recommend some kind of fine point writing utensil and smaller handwriting. 0.3 below works well. Cons : 10 Years is a lot of pages and this book does not lay flat which is to be expected, but certainly something to consider.

It's exactly what I expected. The paper is lovely to write on, and there is just enough space to put in the days basics. I like that it's an easy/short diary entry, which makes me more likely to write stuff. The text of the diary is entirely in Japanese, which I do not speak, but this does not impact my using the diary and the year flows from left to right like most Western books.

This diary has a small section to write short daily notes which seems quite doable because you don't have to write a lot. Just jot down little notes or simple thoughts of the day; nothing complicated. I bought two 10-year diaries and let's see what transpires. The designs and size makes this a lovely and charming diary. I made a wax paper book cover because I wanted to protect it, but still be able to see the cover, and preserve the box it came in by not using it for now.

Love the idea and format of this diary. Wish I had discovered it years ago when I was traveling so much. Midori makes some of the best products.

This one records memories and journal important stuff, all the way upto 10 years in a single book. The binding and paper quality is excellent. Works perfect with fountain pens!
