I just added a little polish with silicone and a cloth, and cleaned my screen because I like everything shiny. It's working very well. The operating system works well. I added Microsoft 365, and everything runs very fast. Excellent device, I would buy again without hesitation. Review: Computer didn't last. - I bought this computer because I had used this same brand and model and found it smaller and fast. Shortly after receiving it, I had issues with charging it. I had to move the plug that goes into the computer back and forth to get it to connect. Over time the issue got worse. I thought it was the plug because the computer came with an off brand charger, so I purchased the exact make and model for that computer. That didn't fix the issue. Now, the computer won't charge. I can get a connection, but it disconncts immediately. I've contacted the seller and the warranty is only 90-days. I would bet this computer was returned originally for this same issue and it wasn't repaired correctly. Buyer beware. You get what you pay for. I'm left with a none working computer with a lot of important data on the hard drive that I'll have to have removed externally.

CPU Generation and Laptop Generation Are Not the Same Thing!!
There seems to be some confusion in the reviews about the “generation” being mentioned. The listing says the laptop has an **8th-generation Intel processor**, which refers to the CPU model (in this case the i7-8550U). That processor is part of Intel’s 8th-generation lineup. The laptop itself is a **ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Generation**, which simply means it’s the sixth design revision of that specific Lenovo model. So both things are true at the same time: • The processor is 8th-generation Intel • The laptop model is X1 Carbon 6th Generation Those are two separate numbering systems used by two DIFFERENT companies. The system information screenshot some of the customers have provided trying to prove this seller is "Lying" is actually only proving the opposite. If someone isn’t familiar with how manufacturers label CPU generations versus laptop model generations, the responsible thing to do is check first. Calling a seller a liar based on a misunderstanding of the naming conventions isn’t fair to the seller or helpful to other buyers.

It works amazing, thanks!
Besides the fur (apparently the skin was glued by a cat or something) everything is as promoted. For those that are confused, the 8th is for the CPU, nor the computer itself. The battery is a new one. Which is great. Maybe handle the skin protection better, you'll have some glue in your keyboard.

Spacebar was stiff. Returned
Refurbished return. Spacebar was funky and stiff. Returned it, no issues. check everything when you receive it. I’ve been using Lenovo thinkpads for 20 years.

Great bang for you buck!
Had to do a bunch of windows and Lenovo updates but once those were completed, the device worked like a charm!

Overheating, screen flickering, and insulting refund
The computer would overheat and the screen would flicker at certain points. When I returned the computer, all I gotten as a refund was a “goodwill refund” of $0.01. I might as well just kept the laptop considering shipping costs.
