Digital Instant Read Meat Thermometer for Turkey BBQ Grill with Long Probe, Food Cooking Thermometer for Candy Kitchen Smoker Temperature

I ordered two of these, one for me, and one for a gift. Excellent packaging. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but the quality appears excellent. I really like that the probe has some good length for checking the temperature. FYI, of note, for anyone receiving the thermometer, I found with mine that I needed to go into the battery compartment of it and pill off a plastic tab at the battery for the battery to work - that is great because I therefore knew the battery was brand new. After I pilled off the plastic at the battery and I put the battery cover back on, I could therefore turn the thermometer off and on. Looking forward to using it. UPDATE NOTE: I have now had a chance to use it. Used it to measure the temperature in a cooked turkey. The thermometer is indeed excellent, the temperature read was instant and accurate. It was very simple to use. And the probe was very easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

All 3 seemed DOA. Initially none of the thermometers turned on. Later on (after I left a negative one star review) I opened the battery compartment and I discovered there was a plastic isolator on the battery that you must remove before use for it to work. Should probably include this procedure in the instructions! I didn't see it.. Works good now. I'm happy!

This was a decent thermometer. nothing too fancy. Sometimes was a bit persnickety and quirky after a while. I'm not sure when or how, but at some point the wires became disconnected from the probe. Will prob order another one, and be more careful with it. It's not super sturdy. But it was quick to read. So still good. Just a little more fragile than I'm accustomed

I was in a bad mood when I wrote my first review - it was hot and humid (and I hate this weather), but this little gadget is great for the money. Found out that when you leave it in Fahrenheit mode when you turn it off, it defaults to fahrenheit when you turn it back on ! So, yes, I would definitely recommend this product !

Arrived DOA. Tested the battery and it read 1.54v. Once I read other reviews, my guess was the battery contacts weren't being made properly. I bent the 'arch' sides out a bit so that they would touch the side of the battery... and viola! It works.I'm guessing it's a manufacturing defect, but... it now works fine.We look forward to using it!

Very cheaply made. Be sure to remove the the plastic slip keeping the battery from contacting the leads like other reviewers mentioned. The battery still does not make contact with the leads and will not turn on unless a considerable amount of pressure is placed upon the back for the battery.

Super great thermometer. Good for all possible temperatures I would cook at plus a little either way (with tolerances written on it so I know how much I can push it). Easy on/off and celcius/Fahrenheit conversion. Nice long stick that doesn't have to be fully covered to read, sturdy construction.

This thermometer started acting glitchy after the first use. After about a minute in oil (I'm primarily using it to test the temperature of oil to deep fry) it starts to fluctuate between C and F rapidly then shut off altogether. It seems to read fine when it's working, but after a while it doesn't work so......I would go with another product.

Does the job, but the cover for the end of it is awful. We haven't lost it...yet. But, I can see it happening.

Uns taugt das Kochthermoter sehr gut. Für den Preis ein gutes und vielseitig einsetzbares Thermometer. Ich habe die Genauigkeit der Messung in kochendem Wasser getestet und da hat alles gepasst. Wie lange es hält wird sich zeigen....bisher gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Zweimal benutzt, ok.Aber beim dritten Mal ist es kaputt gegangen.Bitte nicht kaufen 😝😝😝Hoffentlich bekomme ich ein neues geschickt, damit ich sehe, ob nur dieses eine defekt ist.

Wir haben uns das Bonsenkitchen Digitalthermometer zum Brotbacken geholt, da wir festgestellt haben, dass die Temperatur hier große Einflüsse haben kann. Das Thermometer ist einfach zu handhaben und die Genauigkeit ist auch sehr gut. Ich habe zum Vergleich ein Hochleistungs-Digitalthermometer von meinem Arbeitgeber ausgeliehen und die Temperaturunterschiede zwischen dem Profigerät und dem Bonsenkitchen Digitalthermometer waren max. 0,1 ° C. Von uns gibt's ne klare Kaufempfehlung.
