Best books for babies
All 4 of my kids love them. The interesting pictures, sensory parts and flip out pages have been delighting my children for almost a decade. Definitely recommend.

Big, bright and with loads to look at
This book is a firm favourite with my 1-year-old. It's big, full of bright cartoons with a large flap to lift on every right-hand page and loads of other textures to explore. The words are sometimes a little odd, they don't really flow as a story from page to page as such, but that's really not worth deducting a star for. I love the style of the artwork and the colours used throughout really call baby's attention.

Interactive baby book
My little grandson (4 months) loves this book - it has all the elements babies love - colour, contrast, texture, surprise. The only slight problem is the size, the book is a little big to manage whist simultaneously holding a baby! nevertheless we read it together every time I see him and he is always absorbed by it. It would still be suitable for babies up to about 1 year.

Babies favourite book
I bought this book for my daughter who was around five months old at the time of purchase. She loves looking at the bright pictures and turning the flaps and pages. There are different textures and furry bits to play with and explore. Now she is 9 months old she still loves this book and gets very excited by the last page which has a mirror in it. This is ideal for baby's first book and I think she'll enjoy looking at this for at least another 6 months.

Superb book
We have bought this book for our daughters Christmas, it arrived well packaged and looks superb! It is a good sized book with hard back pages. Inside the book is full of colour, lots of things to see and touch. We love the mirror on the back page, our little girl loves looking at herself and from watching my nieces and nephews they like to give themselves big kisses :)We would recommend. I can't wait to see our daughters face when we lift the flaps to reveal a picture.

Love it
The book is large and robust with lots of bright colours and textures. The pages are easy for little hands to turn over and each page has a flap with a character hiding behind it. My little boy who is 14 months old happily sits looking through it time and time again. Will definitely buy more in the series.

Lovely book for baby and toddlers!
Absolutely lovely book! The bold illustrations and vibrant colours jump out at you, and are guaranteed to grab baby's attention. My little one has just turned 7 months so is able to sit up and grab things so therefore loved exploring all the different textures with her little hands! It has become her favourite book of choice so I would highly recommend!

Superb series of books - but, with this one there are large parts of every page that can be easily ripped off
We just LOVE these Ladybird books! They really are fantastic, with so many things to see and touch, that it will take a very long time before they become boring.Only thing about this one in particular, The Peekaboo, is that on every page there is a flap that is opened to reveal the hidden item. Our boy is 13 months and the first thing he did was try to rip off the flap :-( so.... we can't let him read it by himself which he loves to do.In a few of the other books in this series there are also bit's that can be easily ripped off - the elephant's trunk didn't last more than 10 seconds on the first read yesterday. Today he ripped off the bee's wings. I don't mind that so much as it's just a few little things in what are, overall, superb books. But this Peekaboo one wld be ruined in one if we left him on his own with it.
