If you think '699 is too much for black pepper, then just look at the paper mill that it comes in! Very good quality pepper mill and the black pepper is nothing that I had used before. Totally worth the price!

good option for people looking for real black pepper. tried this one and the pepper medley..both come in beautiful bottles which can be used to grind the pepper just before use

Quite Good
I don’t know if this is the world’s best or not because here in India black pepper has always been top tier, you can’t really tell the difference until perhaps you try them side by side. That said it’s quite good, although I prefer to grind it in a mortar rather than using the inbuilt grinder.

Not working at all. Does not grind the black pepper and when I want to return, Amazon doest not accept. It's a rip-off

Complete waste of money and a scam. Don’t buy. Look for another product. I got it, opened it and starting turning - absolutely nothing came out. Scrapped it down and realised the crappy design doesn’t allow the peppercorn to fall into the grinder properly. Complete waste. Hopefully no one else suffers same fate.
