Auto Ventshade[AVS] Aeroskin / Hood Protector | Fits 2008 - 2011 Ford Focus, 1 pc. | Smoke - 320009

The Hood shield fit my 2010 Ford Focus perfectly. Installation was easy enough for me. The shield attaches to the hood of my car with a powerful adhesive tap that is glued to the bottom of the shield. There is peal-off wax paper that protects the adhesive tape from sticking to anything until application. I made sure to thoroughly clean the hood of my car with Windex, pre-position the shield on the hood of my car, and mark out the exact spot in which I wanted the shield to remain on the hood of my car before removing the wax paper from the adhesive tape on the shield. The shield is rather flexible so placing the sheild on the hood of my car was not an exact science but with the marks I made, it fit almost perfectly. I started to position the shield a little crooked, realized my mistake and was able to pull part of the adhesive off my car hood without damaging the paint or adhesive. I doubt it would be a good idea to try and pull the entire thing off once the adhesive has been set. I mean it's probably possible but It would likely damage the adhesive.I bought the shield to help protect my hood from rock chips since I live in an area that gets a lot of snow and ice in the winter and the county/state sand the roads a lot. I can say that this shield will not protect my car from rock chips on the vary front edge of my hood, since the shield does not wrap around the front edge of the hood, but due to it's size and design, I am confident that it will otherwise protect my car hood from rock chips and bug spatter. It also looks stylish on my car.

Was fairly easy to apply, does make it look nice and helps protect the front of the shield. But do wish Auto Ventshade has also make the low profile deflector for my vehicle in addition to the skin. One of my other vehicles has the deflector instead of the skin and looks great. I do prefer the low profile deflector over the aeroskin.

Originally thought it was a high profile such as trucks. Was unsure seeing that it layer flat, mostly because I was unfamiliar with the profile. After applying the appliance, it looked great! The shape contour fix exactly to my car. Gives it a different look and protects against stones and debris that would chip the hood edge. Also more aerodynamic than the truck style high profile model.

I have to say how much I like this shield. Not to mention how many people have told me that it enhances the looks of my car. It was so easy to install too.I highly recommend this product.

Kinda small would have liked a little more coverage and protection.

Looks great on my 09 Ford Focus Coupe. I just bought the car and it had some pretty bad rock chips in the hood this hides them. It not the type of deflector that sticks up on the hood it lays flat and adds a layer of protection. Looks much better then I expected. The only negative for me was shipping took a very long time.

Since my other review wasn't excepted let's try again.Product comes with alchol sachets and prep sachet, do not use the prep as it discoloration your car.Goes on wellUse a hair dryer to warm up your car before anything else.
