I take this product for help with elimination and if taken before bed like the directions say, it works like a charm in the morning! It’s also has a very gentle but reliable effect( doesn’t give me diarrhea). I’ve never been disappointed with its effectiveness. The pills are meant to be swallowed not chewed. I gave them 5 stars for flavor because they taste fine when swallowed- I’ve never chewed them. I also like that they’re an Ayurvedic product with no chemicals, just organic ingredients. That’s one of the main reasons I chose this product over something like Metamucil.

Words can not describe how much I love this product. After years of gastro and menstrual probs I went to an Ayurvedic specialist who put me on a three step regimine including this triphala. As soon as I started taking it I immediately felt clearer. Within a month I lost about five lbs and my periods were better and most of my esophagus issues were eliminated. Then I ran out of the pill and tried gaim.... Then I just ran out. Now I'm miserable and am back on my regular three a night routine. I think the reason these work best for me is that there is no coating so it dissolves in my mouth when I try to chug it down with water. I have problems swallowing or having food go all the way down whn I'm inflamed so the gaim would not dissolve and ultimately I threw them up or spit them out. These have been a lifesaver. When you're desperate to get healthy you don't care about taste etc. I'm a huge fan and never again stray from the brand or my diet. I'm miserable now and realize I have taken 100 steps back just to get one step forward.

I have been wary of this and so I have only taken it every other night. So far so good. The first night I took it an hour before bedtime as suggested in the Prime book. It may have contributed to that sleepless night so next time I took it right after dinner. I think that timing is best for me. I think I will continue alternating nights for a while just in case it works too well. Take it easy at first and see what works best for your body.

I recently purchased this product and have been taking the recommended dosage for about a week. This is my first experience using this brand. I usually use another brand which is also sold on Amazon. However I don't think this works nearly as well as the one I have been purchasing for 4 years now. Just doesn't seem to be as potent. Contemplating upping the dosage but I prefer to take as directed. Does not keep the bowel movements as regular as I would like them to be. I will likely just return to my previous brand.

...to help you "go". I started reading The Prime last month and started phase 1 shortly after. I love that all the products she suggests using are things nature provides us. Triphala may have many benefits but I found that after only a day or two I was able to go normally and that has not always been the case. im not going to go into any detail, but it made such a huge difference in me that a friend started this product too, he is having good results as well. This brand is a little more expensive than some others but I've had good results so I don't want to chance anything by changing to another brand that might not be as easily absorbed or have the same strength.
