The holy grail of antiperspirant
I was referred by a coworker to try out Carpe and all I can ask myself is why didn't I know about this brand before?! All of my life, I have struggled with hyperhydrosis and it became worse postpartum. I have tried every brand of clinical strength deodorant on the market and nothing compares to Carpe. Granted, it's a steep price tag, but it's the best $20 I could have ever invested in. I apply before bed, after showering and exfoliating, then once again in the morning, and I'm odor and sweat free ALL DAY. Before, I would have to apply deodorant multiple times per day just to keep the odor at bay. Once it's applied, it does feel tacky and sticky but once it absorbs into the skin, it becomes dry and does some amazing work! I've tried the natural deodorant route and I had no choice but to go back to deodorant with aluminum due to excessive sweating and odor. I highly recommend Carpe for anyone who experiences issues with sweat and odor. A +++++++ !

Carpe actually works & keeps me dry.. highly recommend!
Carpe is the only deodorant that keeps me dry. I've tried numerous deodorants over the years with the hope that it would keep my underarms dry and so many have failed to do so. I've been using Carpe for a couple of weeks & I'm a true believer that this actually works. My underarms stay dry and I'm not embarrassed by any wetness. The fresh powder & fresh linen scents are my favorite. Sandalwood is also very nice. Highly recommend if you sweat alot!

Great For Every Day Use
I love this stuff. I would say it is more masculine smelling but the smell goes away quickly and it is so much better than any of the other scents. Highly recommend this product. As I have aged and entered menopause, arm pit odor became real, even with daily showering. Enter Carpe. This stuff stops the gunk that makes you smell. I also use Lume around the area I applied Carpe and it seems to have done the trick. Seems overkill but menopause sucks and trying to stop nature takes serious power.

For The Cost, Do Not Buy This
TL>DR Summary:DO NOT buy this product. While I would not go as far as to say this item is a scam, because it is a real product that does what it says, at $18 (what I paid) per 1.7 oz (50ml) this is 5x more expensive than it should be. If you're in the market for this product specifically, I would suggest you get Degree Advanced 72 Hour instead. If you are looking for a "clinical strength" version of this product, get Certain Dri Extra Stength Clinical Strength. Both of which are 3-5X cheaper. For an everyday "clinical strength", go with Certain Dry Clinical Strength Everyday or Degree Clinical Protection, both 2-3x cheaper.Synopsis:Over the years, as I have aged and become more active, my regular deoderant and antiperspirants stopped becoming effective. I would find myself sweating more often and, as a result, the armpits of my shirts suffered greatly. In doing some shopping for a new antiperspirant, I came across Carpe. A friend of mine said that they had used it and thought I should give it a try, so I did. At the time of purchase I hadn't done a lot of research into antiperspirants but, after having purchased, I wish I had as it would have save me a lot of time. While the product itself is decent, the price ($18) and size make this product a horrible value for what it is actually offering. Further, this product is marketed as though it's "clinical strength" when in reality, it's not at all.Application:The product comes as a soft solid. Basically means that it has more of a "lotion" consistency than a solid. The packaging states to put a thin layer under your arms before bed (as do many of these products) although "thin" layer is up to interpretation. But, nevertheless, apply a small amount at night. While the product is quick drying, I did find that "quick" meant several minutes. I didn't find the formula to be irritating to me although it was sticky at times. However, once it dried I had no further problems. I do wish that the instructions made the amount clearer (such as two turns, four turns, etc.) but it wasn't bad.Fragrance:I decided to go with the Coconut Vanilla scent, mainly because it was cheaper at the time I purchased. The smell isn't super strong but not light either, so in the middle. I'm not a huge fan of coconut smells, but I did not find this one to be unpleasant at all. Results:This is where I had the bulk of my issues. This product uses aluminum sesquichlorohydrate as it's antiperspirant active ingredient. Aluminum sesquichlorohydrate is one of 18 FDA approved aluminum salts and is more gentle on the skin. While not necessarily what would be used in a prescription (that would be aluminum chloride), it's effective. The problem that I have, however, is that this product uses aluminum sesquichlorohydrate @ 15% concentration. This means that while this product has a higher concentration than a typical gentle antiperspirant that uses this active ingredient (as it will usually be 9-10% concentration), it is actually less than many 72 hour antiperspirants that use the same active ingredient (ex. Degree Advanced 72 Hour is 16%). In my testing, in fact, this product is mostly on par to slightly less effective for me than a typical Degree Advanced 72 Hour solid stick, with me getting similar (to just slightly less) dryness results. Thus, if you combine that with the fact that it's a soft solid (and thus, more difficult application), costs $10.58 per oz, and contains less of it's active ingredient than a antiperspirant that regularly comes in a larger, 2.6 oz size and costs $5 in most places ($1.92 per oz), this product is borderline scam. If you are in need of this particular active ingredient at similar concentrations, visit your local store and look at the labels. You'll find some 72 hour sticks with similar concentrations. If you are looking for a "clinical strength" version of this active ingredient, Certain Dri Clinical Strength Extra Strength contains the legal maximum of 25% aluminum sesquichlorohydrate. Like this, it comes as a 1.7 oz solid but is usually around $7-8, making it a much better buy for a much stronger product.Overall:Overall, this is not a product that I can recommend, not at this price point. It's no better than a typical 72 Hour antiperspirant but costs 5x as much. And for a clinical strength version of this particular active ingredient, it's 3x as much. If you suffer from excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and need something strong, this is definitely not going to be your product. The marketing of the product is good and it has good story, but at the end of the day it boils down to what it's made of and its price point. For its price, it should be much better. I will stick to other products versus this one.

Keeps you dry
This is the only product that actually has helped with my sweaty underarms and i’ve tried a lot of other products. The scent smells good and it does keep me dry the whole day. I go through these in about a month though so i wish it lasted longer especially for that price. A bit pricier than most products but it does get the job done so i guess i’ll continue using

Good at first, but consistency of “lotion” deteriorates over time
There is no question that this product is effective at controlling odor. The only real complaint is the texture/consistency. It starts off pretty wet and sticky which isn’t enjoyable, but certainly tolerable. However, over a short time, the product becomes less wet and significantly more sticky. To the point where it is literally pulling out my armpit hairs. It’s like a rubbing a glue stick under your arm which is wildly uncomfortable. I imagine with no armpit hair this wouldn’t be an issue. Also definitely get a different scent, this one smells unpleasantly medicinal.
