Q: How do you change the cover on this? I tried the roll method but had to untie some of the ties.

Turn the cover you want to put on inside out and lay on bed. Then lay your blanket on top and attach the ties. Turn the cover and blanket right side out and zip close. This is the easiest way I have found to change the cover..

Q: For a 180 lb. person with a full size bed do I get a 15 lb. or a 20 lb. blanket. 20lbs. is good for weight, 15lbs. for bed size-which is better?

The issue is not just the weight of the blanket, but also the size of the blanket. If you compare a 48x72 blanket at 15lbs to a 60x80 blanket at 15 lbs, they will feel quite different. The weight is the same, but the weight distribution is wider the larger the blanket. I weigh about 190 lbs, and vendors suggest I buy 20 lbs weight; I sleep on a twin bed, and vendors suggest I buy a 48x72 blanket. So I bought a 48x72 blanket at 20 lbs. I felt crushed by the weight, and the blanket kept falling off of me whenever I rolled over at night, so it was too small. I then bought what I thought I should have bought in the first place, based on common sense = a 60x80 blanket at 15 lbs and I love it. I then later found out on the internet that this size and weight is favored by 90% of adults. I agree!

Q: Is it hot when sleeping under it?

I tend to run warm so I worried about being too hot under it as well but I have been pleasantly surprised by how comfortable I am. It is super soft and snuggly, and I fall asleep all covered up in it. I do wake up sometimes because I am getting too warm, but his would happen to me with a duvet cover so this is nothing new! To sum up, despite the weight, and the “cozy heat” cover, I do not think it is any hotter than sleeping under a regular set of covers. In fact I would say I stay under it more regularly than I did with my old blankets.

Q: Please advise washing instructions. Is the interior weighted blanket washable?

Yes, the blanket it's self is washable but it comes with two duvet covers. One for summer and one for winter. I've never washed the blanket, simply because it's so heavy it seems like it would just be a giant pain in the butt. I will probably only wash it every 6 months or so, because I constantly keep it covered with one of the two duvets and just wash those weekly.
