I3 2017 battery replacement
Fits like a glove on BMW i3 2017. A perfect replacement. Replaced the battery myself and it is working amazing. I had battery warnings of not being able to charge while breaking and idle warnings coming out of my car before this. Didn't know if I was going to get the car out of the garage because it locks the wheels. Had to use the BimerLink app and a Bluetooth OBD2 plugin to reset the error messages. Now I am back in business. There are several YouTube videos I watched to make it happen. Thank you to them. If you need to replace your BMW i3 battery, I highly suggest you watch those videos when it comes to the high voltage disconnect plug at the right of your front trunk.

Works great at a fraction of the dealer cost
I can confirm that it is compatible with BMW I3 2019. All you have to do is transfer the original therminals to the new battery using the rectangular nuts provided.Pay attention to the orientation before removing them from the old battery.Don’t forget to also disconnect the green high voltage connector (on the right side of the bucket) before changing the battery.

BMW i3 perfect replacement
2004 BMW i3, nearly perfect replacement. Very easy to modify and attach thermals with hardware provided. Fresh battery received, with manufacturer date the same month as delivery. Fantastic price, no core requirements. Original battery in BMW lasted 11 years! Very easy to change, less than 45 minutes.

Good BMW i3 replacement.
Made my i3 happy again! Easy fit. The terminal ends need to be positioned carefully, and it’s not perfect……but it’s also not a $500 battery. Got the job done.I had it sitting for @6mo, and put a good solid charge on it, but it registered just fine in the car.

Works for BMW i3 EVs
This should help a lot of people that wonder if the Energizer TX24HL 12V Battery will work for their BMW i3 (New BMW part number 61219321815, Old BMW part number 61217635788) since the "Amazon Confirmed Fit" says "! This does not fit". Well, it does. And it works really well at about $80 less than the primary option (Remy, with shipping) or $375 less than a dealership (albeit with labor). Also, the Deka ETX18L option requires problematic terminal mods.***Don't worry about there not being a "gas exhaust line" like the factory battery because unlike most BMW's, i3 batteries are stored in the "frunk", not inside a sealed trunk. I installed this fairly quickly and easily, and the charging warning ("Battery discharging while stopped") & console engine warning light both disappeared. Just do the swap immediately after getting the first warning else you might have complications, e.g., needing to get a jump/battery minder or losing presets/code errors.***Contrary to some articles out there, I did not need to buy an OBD2 interface and the Bimmerlink phone app.***Correct Terminals: Yes (just use the factory terminals & remount using the included nuts by placing them inside the smaller existing terminals to thread the screws)AGM (absorbed glass mat): Yes12V: Yes20 AH: Yes (its 21 Ahr is actually better)

Didn't come with the parts necessary to install. And doesn't have enough CCA to power the car
The battery doesn't work .. Two mechanics have told me the battery doesn't have enough juice to power my car. They said the CCA or AHr is not enough to power the car. Getting all sorts of errors in my BMWi3 due to the lack of power from this carIn addition, the battery is supposed to come with nuts and bolts, which it didn't. So, had to spend many hours trying to retrofit existing adapters to fit this.not worth all this effort. and can't even return this battery now :-(

Fits just fine in a BMW i3
As the other guy said, this works great in a BMW i3. No need to order brass post extensions or anything else. $254 from the dealer, plus a two week wait from Germany, where as Amazon was 2 days and $105. I'll register this battery with the car, as my old Penn Deka that I put in the car only lasted 2 years, 10 months last time. Car was like it had a stroke when its 12V battery went bad. Took hours on a 120v charger to get it to come around and fire up the REX. that part was uncool. Battery seems great.

Check for shipping damage
This battery fit our BMW i3 although it’s not the OEM version. As a compact, heavy item it can suffer in shipment. In our case, one of the terminals was slightly distorted but that didn’t damage the battery nor prevent its installation. It could have been worse, so look out for that.
