Winds my watches, but case got scratched because the crowns scratched as they spinned. H
This winder does as it described where it wound my automatic watches and it is quiet. The only problem is that the nice looking case is scratched up because my watches on "periodic" rotations seems to drop down enough where my watch dials scratched the case!! At first, I thought this was damage I did not notice when I received the item. However, today, I decided to watch it and within a few minutes, my Omega Seamaster watch crown started rubbing against the case. The only way I could stop this was to arrange my watches so that the crowns are facing inside instead of outside. This is the reason I am putting 3 stars because I am not happy that the case is scratched up and that my watches were grinding against the case periodically without my knowledge. As you can see in the picture where I show both spinners, you can see that I now have to face the crowns of all my watches inside. Otherwise, if the crowns are facing outside, they will periodically get stuck on the clear window, which you can see the horizontal scratches on the other two images where it will forever bother me that the case is now scratched up. :(

DOESNT HAVE MULTIPLE TURNS PER DAY SETTINGS
I just got this unit, looks nice and is quiet. However the product details say specifically "and multiple Turns Per Day settings." So far based on the instructions and unit, that is not true at all. And the default and only setting is insanely high. Most Automatic Watches from what I have seen recommend 600-800 Turns per day. I had to manually figure out the TPD on this model cause it's not listed but it runs at over 4000 turns per day. 2 minutes one direction (15 turns) 6 minutes rest, and 2 minutes the other direction (15 turns). Which if on all of the time would be over 4000 TPD. The whole point of a watch winder is to keep the automatic watches you are not wearing running until you wear them again. Having to turn the box on for a few hours a day and then turn it off 3 or 4 hours later defeats the whole purpose of setting and forgetting. Over all not a bad deal considering the price, but definite false advertising which doesnt give me confidence it will last very long or function well through time...

Solid Automatic Winder
I have used other single or double winders before, but in each case they were poor materials and the multiple settings for auto-winding resulted in loss of time and needing to reset my watches when I would wear them. This model does a great job in all respects. 1. Well built and the piano black finish is high quality for the price point. The hinges are well made and perform solidly as the cover has some weigh to it. That's a good thing in my view. 2. The clear plexiglass cover give an easy view to the watches and status inside. I have three watches of 40, 40 and 41 cm with leather and stainless steel bracelets. They all fit well without hitting each other or rubbing the cover glass. 3. All but dead silent. You have to listen for it when the motion begins, otherwise it is unnoticeable. 4. Most importantly is the accuracy. This has ONE setting of two minutes on, six minutes off, with alternating changes in direction. With two turntables holding two watches each, there is an on/off switch for each turntable. Simple. 5. I've had this now for two weeks and I have only made one time adjustment for the daylight savings time change this past weekend. Each watch (different watch makers) maintains the time setting after two weeks by simply turning it on. Simple. Reliable. Well made. Good value.
