She handles both sides of it well, and can, to her credit, also belt out a tune with some style. She does plenty of that too across the second season of Hannah Montana, as well as dealing with the challenge of putting across a character who has inevitably struggles with her dual life. It’s certainly glossy, polished entertainment, but that doesn’t mean that Hannah Montana doesn’t hit the mark. There’s genuine talent fuelling the success of the show, and while it’s inevitably the kind of programme that parents of young daughters may dread--especially if they’ve had to listen to the accompanying music on loop too!--the truth is that this is infectious entertainment, and hard not to enjoy.
