This mattress contains fiberglass. Apparently, a lot of manufacturers use it as a flame retardant. However, most other companies actually list it as an ingredient on the tag. This one does not. I, after a couple of weeks of use, started developing flu-like symptoms and a rash. I thought it was an allergic reaction to something, until, prompted by reviews of other mattresses, I looked up pictures of fiberglass related rashes. My rash looks exactly like the pictures I reviewed. With my luck, I most likely have fiberglass all over my bedroom and all of my cloths. I am extremely upset. The company has confirmed, via email, that they fiberglass as a flame retardant. They actually have good customer service, which is the reason I would give them one star, even if I could give them zero. This is not the only brand that uses a "fiberglass scrim". However, I had more trouble discovering their use of fiberglass than that of other companies I researched.

It's a nice medium-firm, memory-foam mattress for a solid surface, like a floor or a box spring. I think it would be fine as a floor mattress for houseguests. I bought it as a spare mattress for a new, twin pull-out sofa bed. With only the bare sofa bed springs, it does not provide enough back support. I am 180-lbs, and my hips sink into it when I turn on my side. It's pretty uncomfortable, but better than the flimsy 4" mattress that came with the sofabed. It's actually not too bad with the flimsy mattress underneath because it provides a little spring support, but that elevates the bed pretty high. I've ordered a 2-inch foam mattress topper to put underneath or perhaps on top to add firmness and support.The main problem is the mildew smell. It arrived eight days ago, and I let it inflate outside on top of the clean plastic that it came in. I covered it at night with a new tarp so that condensation wouldn't form on the mattress and let it off-gas a full 48-hours. The mildew smell had dissipated enough to bring it into the house and put it onto the sofabed spring. This is the sixth day that it's been in the house uncovered in an open guestroom, and it still smells like mildew, even through a brand new freshly laundered mattress pad. This is not a "new carpet" or furniture showroom smell.The smell dissipated a little, but it's still strong enough to detect when you walk into the room. I'm getting frustrated because I don't want to tear the mattress apart to check for mildew, and it's now fully inflated and too hard to stuff back into the box to return. Haven't slept on it, yet, because we're hoping the smell will go away. I can compensate for the lack of support by adding firmness either under or on top of the mattress. If worse came to worse, we'd move it to the floor. But, the smell is a problem.FEBR 2019 UPDATE: BUYER BEWARE—Last November, the company was slow to respond, and I ended up purchasing a mattress pad, instead. We exchanged emails, and the company rep offered to replace the mattress. By that time, I did not need a replacement, and it was impossible to return the mattress once it is removed from the packaging. I asked for a refund and did not get any further response. The mattress was unusable because of the persistent lingering mildew smell, and we had to throw it out. Sorry to say that I cannot recommend this product or endorse the company's quality assurance of a 10-year worry-free warranty. Bottom line, the company would not stand by its assurance of customer satisfaction.

Update!!! Check your mattress thoroughly for mold! We went to rotate this mattress to help with the discomfort and break down that has happened and my husband found it.Update to a year later. We have back pain and hip pain. My husband is a bigger guy 260 pounds. When he lays next to me the mattress sinks so much I roll towards him. We are going to have to purchase something else. Such a bummer because this price was amazing and it started out decent.

WOW! This is so much better than I expected. After checking detailed info on SleepLikeTheDead.com, I learned so much more than I expected, which allowed me to save a LOT of money with this purchase and I have NO regrets! It really IS more comfortable than the Tempurpedic in the other guest room. I LOVE the cooling gel and have not had any "hot flashing" at all! I have been sleeping on this mattress for approximately 4 weeks and am looking forward to purchasing a queen for my home!The mattress is medium-firm and I am able to sit on the bed without sinking and check email on my laptop for about an hour before going to sleep. It has very good motion isolation which means it absorbs movement and does not transfer it across the bed.The only warning I have is that this bed's "Off Gassing Odor" (refers to a chemical-like or musty-like odor that a mattress may release when it is new due to its composition and packaging) is quite strong. However, I have an incredibly acute sense of smell. That being said, it took a full 10 days before I could leave the sheets on -- I dropped pure, essential lavender oil on the bed while taking the sheets off during the day to alleviate the smell.Also be advised that a minimum of 24 hours to allow the bed to fully expand is recommended by the manufacturer.For the price, I don't care one bit if this bed doesn't last for the full 10 years that the warranty provides for. Seriously, if it lasts 2 years, I will be satisfied and buy another one when needed. I wish I had known about this bed before I purchased an extremely expensive, "volcano" (heat & sweat inducing) mattress years ago!

I have bought king size mattress from classic brands and I liked it for over 2 years now. No complains of getting less firm in one area or saggy. still looks brand new and comfortable to sleepon.Now that I needed another twin mattress, didn't think twice, just looked for the same brand. My kids are loving it, It is taking all the abuse they can do, and still in good shape. I should buy the mattress protector just in case to avoid any accidental spills by younger kids, that should give it a long life.

Love it! Was shocked how thin it appeared to be when it arrived, but then when it fully expanded... it was great and perfectly firm/soft.It was just for a guest room bed... but I sneak in and sleep on it often. Will replace our own mattress with one of these when it's time. : )

For combined convenience, affordability, and comfort I give this 5 stars. I have a very bad back. This has helped me feel more rested after a night's sleep than ever before. Honestly, if you are looking for a mattress that will last you a long time at a phenomenal price point this is the one for you! It is on the slightly firmer side but forms to your body with a good amount of support. I order almost everything on amazon and I always read the reviews before purchasing so I thought I'd post a good review as this product really wow'ed me. I recommend this mattress!

We bought this mattress to replace the old worn out mattress in our fifth wheel camper. It came rolled up in a box (I can't believe it was free shipping). We followed the directions and unrolled it in the house and let it "rest" for a day before moving it to the camper. In hindsight we should have just unrolled it in the fifth wheel and let it rest there instead of trying to move it later.This mattress took a few days to get used to, but we love it now. If one of us gets out of bed it doesn't disturb the other person at all, which is a major problem with any other mattress we've had.We'll be buying one of these for the house and one for the cottage (different sizes) so we have the same mattress everywhere.

Lo deje reposar como dice el paquete y en 72 horas aproximadamente estaba en su tamaño regular, muy bien soporte, memory pero firme! Definitivamente lo recomiendo y lo volveria a comprar

This is a fantastic bed at an unbeatable price! Arrived within a week and was good to sleep on within 12hrs of setup. It's firm (which I like), but the memory foam does cradle you a little bit. No odor at all. I'm normally a warm sleeper but this cool option has kept me at the perfect temperature. I'm so impressed with quality and price of this mattress that I will likely order it again if I move to a larger size.

I have had this bed for almost 2 months now, and it fixed my lower back problems. The mattress is pretty hard so it wont be for everyone.The package all came in a compactly packed box,and the matress was almost full.size in about an hour. It took it another few days to get to its full size. I didnt have any of the bad smell problems some have complained about

I was very sceptical when I was buying this mattress. I didn't think it would be as good quality as the standard spring mattresses. I was wrong. It is even better than the spring mattresses that I've owned in the past. The memory foam is great and it very comfortable to sleep on. It also feels cool on the body as is described by the product description. Great product overall.

It really is super comfortable. The smell was minimal. I measured...full 8" as advertised. I waited 2 days to let it settle, but honestly it seemed settled after less than 1 day. Super firm but soft at the same time...hope that makes sense. I bought it for my son. But when my time comes, I am sooo getting a queen size. No regrets.

After sleeping on this thing for a few months its been great. My back hurts alot less after switching from my spring mattress. My biggest concern was that id just sink in this mattress but all tho i sink a tiny bit it still hold pretty firm (which i love) and it only took a day in room temp for it to fully take shape out of the box. P.S I know some people really dont like when a mattress has a smell but the green tea smell it had when i got it was actually pretty nice but it only lasted a few days.

Absolute garbage, not sure if its because I didn't put it on a frame to get the mattress off the ground, therefor the heat has no where to dissipate & moisture build up occurred. Of course I was unaware of this being a reality as it says nothing of it anywhere in the documentation sent with the mattress so how would one know? Regardless if thats the reason or not, the middle has 100% already developed a sink hole and the mattress on a scale of 1-10 of firmness its a 3, offering very very little support. I wish I had my old mattress back.

Es muy bueno, apenas llevamos una semana de uso pero no ha dado ningun problema. Trae funda asi que si por algo se llega a ensuciar la puedes quitar y echar a lavar. Es cómodo, es muy suave, a mi me gusta pero si estas buscando un colchón rígido no es para ti. Además a muy buen precio comparado con otros de memory foam
