H&ZY Men's Steampunk Vintage Tailcoat Jacket Gothic Victorian Frock Coat Uniform Halloween Costume

This jacket is AWESOME. Runs big, but makes for a dapper look! The tails almost touch the floor. I bought it a size bigger than what I normally wear so I would have room to move in it. After getting it, maybe I didn’t have to do that? You just never know when you can’t see or try it on in person. I’m 5’9, 120lbs, and it fits nice when I have a tshirt and button up shirt under it. I have room for at least 30 more pounds before it becomes snug! It’s super comfortable even though with all the layers I got a little sweaty. No annoying tags that are scratchy. Easy to iron out any wrinkles.

I got a medium Blu coat with the intentions of wearing it for a founding fathers costume. The coat looks so legit it is just insanely long!! I'm almost 5'3 and 180lbs and I got a medium, so the jacket fit perfectly, the tail of the coat just came down to my feet almost! I didn't check beforehand the measurements, but other than being long this coat is good!

This coat is exactly as I expected. It is made from rather flimsy polyester. The tailoring is rather flimsy too. The color (royal blue) is just right and looks good. The buttons are gold, metalized plastic and not very well attached. If you're a fat guy relying on the the buttons, straining to keep the jacket closed you should reinforce the buttons' stitches. I'm 6 feet 1 inch tall and weigh 250 pounds. I'm not obese or massively muscular but I'm not skinny either. I have very broad shoulders and a big chest. The jacket (XXLarge) fits well over my chest and belly but its tight across the back of my shoulders. The top part of the sleeves is tight around my upper arms. The sleeves are just long enough and the tails go down to mid-calf. If you're a short dude the tails might be dragging the ground.This jacket is "Halloween costume quality" It isn't a sturdy garment that will stand up to long-term, repeated use. If you buy it expecting to wear it over and over again for years, you will be disappointed. I read a lot of the other reviews from people who ordered it, expecting to be a high quality, sturdy garment and then complain once it was delivered. You get what you pay for. What did you expect for $26? I mean, a basic, inexpensive, JCPenny-brand sport coat goes for a minimum of $50. What makes a person think they can spend half that price and get a real, high-quality tailcoat? (and then act surprised when it arrives and complain when it doesn't hold up.) If you are buying this garment to wear once or just a few times, it is good. It looks great for what is.

I purchased 2 of these in size 4xl. One, for my The White Rabbit Halloween costume. The other, for my friend's Mad Hatter Halloween costume. It fits each of our costume set ups perfectly. I am 5' 3" 225 lbs and needed a bit oversized vest jacket to go with my bunny look. He is 6' 2" and needed this vest jacket combo to have a nice sophisticated look for his Mad Hatter ensemble. We both love them! Very happy with this purchase.

Sizing was off and quality was super thin.

My Wonka is 6'4 and wears a XL in regular shirts. I went off of the recommendation of the seller and ordered him a XXL. It fit perfect. Arm length went to the wrist and bottom of the front of the garment went to his belt.

Order a few sizes up. my husband is a 2x and had to order a 4x. Light weight. needs an ironing. cheaper material, but did the trick.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. My daughter wanted to be a mad hatter for Halloween, but I really didn't want to spend so much on a prepackaged costume, since they're usually horrible quality. We got this as a main piece and it was almost perfect. While my daughter is 10, she usually fairly comfortably fits a men's small t shirt (with wiggle room) and a women's medium. I believe she wore a size 4-6 bottoms, if that helps.We got the size small and it was very big on her still. The sleeves were just a little long, the tails just barely touched the floor, and there was a lot of body room. But, even with my very limited skills, we tucked it a little and got a couple stitches in and I think it will work.The material is not thick, it won't keep you warm, but it's not just cheap plastic/elastic that many standard prepackaged costumes are. Buttons are plastic, but actually button in the front. The built in vest area is nice as well.
