The suction isn't working. I've tried pulling out the silver knob and tightening the dime sized knob all the way, but still nothing. Any thoughts? Thx

I would try 2 things, lubricate the rubber grommet and tighten slowly, if that doesn't work the unit comes with a replacement grommet, try that. If that doesn't work, request a replacement.

The syringe, is it plastic or glass?

The clear tube is plastic and the handle is made of medal.

Can a warranty be bought for this injector? That be nice so I can have it forever.

Is the metal of the pistol grip stainless steel?

No, the grip is not stainless. It is cast iron with a very nice enamel paint. I have had min for several years and no paint chipping or any issue.
