What a watch man!! Reminds highly of bygone era when times were simpler, people were kind & world was a better place to live. If you love retro style watches then this is a must own. Such a classy and timeless design. And for the price, this is bang for each and every buck you pay. Goes so well with formals and business casuals. It is definitely not like these oversized, jumbo dialed watches which people seem to love nowadays. Personally this size is now ideal for me and my taste has definitely evolved over the years. Earlier I use to love those massive dials but now I look for simple design, small dial size & elegance. I feel a Watch must have a character to it. Its not a funky looking, dashy colored and attention grabbing accessory for me anymore. This watch is gonna be my ultimate favourite digital watch. Has all the features like backlight, time settings, alarma etc and what not. But for me what really stands out is the sheer look of it. The color combination, the shape of the dial and the value that Casio brand brings. I really appreciate Casio for still making these beauties and such an affordable price. If I ever start collecting watches, most of them would be Casios for sure. Having said that not everyone will appreciate this timepiece but a man and I mean a real “man” with taste and class will surely appreciate and compliment this watch on you. This is that kind of watch you wear to please yourself and not others. That’s it! Bought two months ago so cannot comment on durability, battery life etc but one thing is for sure that I am gonna take care of it like my baby..! No hair pulling problem on me. My next Casio would be Casio World time. And do not forget to extend your warranty by 6 months (over and above 24 months default) by registering your product on Casio’s website.

-Premessa- L'orologio è stato acquistato come regalo, è arrivato munito di istruzioni e di certificato di garanzia che ne attesta l'autenticità (verificabile dalla pressione prolungata del tasto in basso a destra e dalla successiva comparsa della scritta CASIo). Ordinato due giorni prima della data del compleanno e arrivato in un giorno grazie alla spedizione Prime di amazon, tutto perfetto quindi! Per chi se lo stesse chiedendo la differenza fra questo modello e il modello A168WA-1YES è il paese di destinazione, infatti questo modello è d'importazione e le istruzioni non saranno in italiano (comunque vi sarà l'inglese). Inquadriamolo nel contesto dei casio vintage, è il modello di qualità intermedia, infatti l'intero display è retroilluminato mentre nei modelli piu economici vi sono delle lampade sul lato del display che sono sicuramente bruttarelle confrontate col blu intenso di questo modello. -La mia espeienza- Essendo un regalo di compleanno, e come al solito avendolo acquistato all' ultimo secondo per pochi giorni dopo non mi rimane che ringraziare santo/a Amazon che con il prime mi ha proprio salvato e mi ha fatto risparmiare non poco rispetto all'acquisto in negozio, la spedizione è stata veloce come previsto e il giorno dopo l'acquisto l'orologio era già fra le mie mani. Come gia detto l'orologio arriva munito di tutta la documentazione (straniera) in una busta di plastica ma porta con se la scatola originale appiattita, penso che la spedizione sia avvenuta cosi per motivi d'ingombro. Il settaggio dell' ora è intuitivo e intelligente, nel senso che se impostiamo novembre come mese, automaticamente riconosce che vi sono 30 giorni ( sempra una cosa normale ma non è scontata), purtroppo non ha il settaggio dell'anno, quindi non riconosce gli anni bisestili. Subito sono rimasto colpito dalla precisione degli accoppiamenti delle varie parti del cinturino, infatti passandoci il dito non si sentono microscalini, ma la geometria sembra scorrere liscia come se fosse un pezzo unico, veramente ottimo, i giochi sono molto contenuti e si ha una piacevole sensazione di qualità. Sempre parlando del cinturino, questo è facilmente regolabile e non è necessario smontarlo perchè il meccanismo di blocco è mobile su di un carrellino, basta fare leva su un foro li presente e farlo scorrere, riabbassando la linguetta la slitta si blocca. Sul display nulla da dire, retroilluminazione ottima e di un colore piacevole. Come già detto vi è la possibilita di impostare sveglie e di utilizzo come cronometro. -Conclusioni- Se vi piace il genere, compratelo ad occhi chiusi, il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono e si risparmia qualcosa comprandolo d'importazione (10%-20% rispetto alla versione italiana). Ultimamente è tornato molto di moda quindi può essere anche una bella idea regalo. Spero di esservi stato di aiuto. Francesco

Das ist eine sehr schöne und zweckmäßige Uhr für den Preis, den sie kostet. Es wäre zwar besser, wenn das Gehäuse nicht aus beschichtetem Resin, sondern aus Edelstahl wäre, aber das ist zu dem Preis wohl nicht zu machen. Für Liebhaber von alten 80-er Designs ist das ein empfehlenswerter Kauf.
