WEN Cordless Electric Lawn Mower, 21-Inch Deck with two 40V Max Batteries and Charger (40441)

I bought this mower because the idea of battery power lawn equipment is very appealing to me. I also own the WEN weed trimmer and the WEN chainsaw. The trimmer and chainsaw have been with me for a year already and have performed really well. With that, I figured I'd give the mower a shot and it has performed as well as my Honda gas mower did. The battery life is great and they charge pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking to build a set of battery powered lawn equipment. I would recommend picking a brand and going with it for everything so you will be able to collect a lot of batteries which are interchangeable. Having access to several batteries makes the experience really smooth.

this is my second mower of this type , after putting in a few parts it finally quit after 6 1 /2 years , yes i did get my money out of it i suppose , but the new one seems to have a better motor, is much quieter and starts much better than the first, so we'll see . one problem already after 6 weeks , the unit just "stopped" running ( batteries still had 2/3 charge remaining

Wheel came broken, manufacturer quickly shipped a new one for free. Now I just have to figure out how to remove and replace the wheel. Run time is nowhere near the 70 minutes advertised. Lucky to get 30 minutes of run time on both batteries. Otherwise its a light, easy, and capable mower...

Love the WEN product line so I keep buying more in the line. The mower is really great! Light, cuts great, easy to start, lots of options re: bagging v. side vent, height of cutting blade, etc. Uses two batteries at a time but lasts a good long time. First couple of uses was on very tall overgrown grass and it work unexpectedly great gieven the rough growth. On a regularly mowed area it was like cutting butter w/ a warm knife. Couldn't recommend it more highly if you are looking for a small, light mower. Very easy to assemble. Just screw on the handles. Batteries are so much easier than gas!

Bought this mower in April 2021. Box it was shipped in was damaged as if something sharp skewered it. That caused visible damage one wheel that soon broke at the hub. I submitted a damage report through Amazon (complete with photos of the damaged box and wheel) and was immediately sent a new wheel. After installing the wheel, the mower has been solid and totally reliable. It is easy to use, light and maneuverable. I would buy again if needed.

Starting out with my assembled Wen brand cordless push mower worked great. I was quickly falling in love with my 21" model # 44140 Wen cordless lawn mower.Until JUST before first pair of batteries were drained and machine shut off. That's when LOUD SHAKING was seen and heard 3 seconds before complete shut down.After removing batteries, tipping mower on it's side revealed the reason for the noise and buckling.Two of the four screws on the underside securing the spindle and attached cutting blade came out.And in just 3 seconds entire spindle (and motor) are not only tilted, but jammed.Upon inspection I found the two screws that has loosened, both had stripped threads to some degree.Given a closer look it does not look like vibration was taken into consideration when designing this important attachment point. Also screw threads were stripped during installation and (apparently) not detected by quality control.Great mower, but it "literally" imploded before my very eyes.Lame design led to catastrophic failure. Please replace mower, if not, provide me with a refund.

My brother loves how it mulched the leaves in the yard. Works great.Great price

We've had great experiences with our other battery operated Wen products, however, this one was disappointing. I bought this since Wen has such a good reputation, and we can use the other batteries we have with this. The lawnmower came with one battery instead of two(not a big deal, since we had others), but the battery was very light compared to the ones that came with our other products. We started mowing, and in less than 20 minutes the wheel had broken. The black plastic part that attaches the wheel to the white plastic part of the mower just...broke. Extremely disappointing.
