Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage Links, 14 oz (Frozen)

This is really, really good! I avoid pork, but not for dietary or religious reasons, I just don't care for it. I do like Italian sausage, though, but the pork varieties are too oily and gamey for me. That's why this is so great. It's so flavorful, I hardly knew it was chicken! Most of the chicken sausage I have tried was too salty or too spicy (I guess to make up for missing fat) and I just couldn't eat it. Turkey sausage is hit or miss, but this had all the right Italian flavor I was looking for! And another plus; it browns! Most poultry sausages won't brown in the pan and is a sickly pink color in my dish. I understand the reviewers that have to avoid pork (religion, allergies, etc). so, it's too bad the casings are a pork product. But if you're just looking for a taste alike with less fat and calories, this is it!

Very tasty not to salty in fact I made these for dinner and my husband loves sausage and he had no idea it was chicken until he finished eating and then I told him it wasn’t pork but chicken.he was surprised and he enjoyed it.

Family loves this sausage. I can pull it off as regular pork sausage when I cook it in sauce, as some family members say they don't like chicken or turkey sausage. They can't tell the difference, it's great because I am trying to cook healthy for the family.

Delicious. Tastes just like a classic sweet italian sausage, with the fennel seeds and everything.

Chicken sausages in "hog casing" does not cut it for me. I wish this was mentioned in the product discription. I will remove the casings and use them. I give it four stars because it has nothing artificial, the price is right for me, came frozen and amazon's fresh is fantastic. Did not cook these yet so I can't comment on the taste, so the review is pending a star.

I decided to stop eating pigs for my own reasons and decided to try this chicken sausage and it is stuffed with hog casings! Last time I checked pig intestines don't grow on chickens. Very disappointed especially since the pictures of the product don't show the back of the package and if they had I would not have bought it.
