Easy to replace once crumbly one was gone
See before and after photos. Notes say no tools required, but if yours looks all crumbly like mine was, I needed tools to get the old one out. But that is not this products fault. Once the old one was out the new one just slipped right in. A light touch to get all the edges to be even and not curl under. Looks good.

FJ Cruiser 2013 - Works
Product looks and works as expected. It took some twisting back and forth once I put it on to get the right seal, but I think this would have been needed with all replacements. It is not just a push in and mindlessly walk away from. Put on your glasses and take a moment to concentrate and wiggle a bit and it should seal pretty well. I used pliers to remove the old one. Make sure you do this slowly as well as you do not want to get too close to the core/center housing - you don't want to damage the 1/4 inch or so near the base. Start ripping out slowly from the exterior and go slow. Total job is roughly ten minutes. Definitely worth the purchase and effort.

Very much needed
I don’t know why I didn’t look for this before but my wife has it 2000 FJ cruiser and for some reason this has gotten broken many years ago going through the automated car washes when you remove the antenna somehow still when the brushes go around it tears up the rubber compound that this is made of so I found this on Amazon and immediately bought it and it works flawlesslyThere is so much available on Amazon, also for the FJ cruiser if you are interested the rubber pieces that go on the top of the door outside that stop the water from coming in in the rain they have those replacements and they’re half price than they are at the dealer And they’re the same material they snap in very easy, the thing today is they’re using inferior materials to build these things to make it cheaper to build but they need to be replace some more frequently than others but at least now we have the ability to buy these parts this antenna boot takes about two minutes to put on, you unscrew the antenna, slide up the broken piece what’s left, slide down the new piece snuggly and then screw your antenna back in and go for a drive and listen to music and know that water will not get inside the inner fender and begin to rot at the bottom needing bodywork in the future
