I like this battery! I leave it in my shop so it gets a few hours of sun and is always charged up. Then it goes biking, yakking or hiking with me, just in case something runs out of power. Good value!

I concur with the other posters- this delivers nowhere near the advertised power. By my calculations, it only has 13,400 MAh. I do not have a smartphone, and purchased this to run USB appliances. At full charge (immediately after charging, because it rapidly loses charge) it ran my lights for 2.5 hours instead of the 10 hours it would have if it were truly 50,000 MAh. The reason I chose this model because of the (fraudulent) high amp-hour rating.The best thing I can say, is that it seems to be rugged and built well. If this were a dead parrot, I'd be saying "brilliant plumage" or that it is pining for the fjords.~~~~~~11/15/19: After successfully charging my iPod last week, I attempted to recharge again today. Not only did neither work, it seems to have made my iPod unable to recharge by 110. And initially it did not recharge even by computer, but I have gotten in to work eventually. I will not be using this on any device in the future. This solar power bank (of which I bought two) is now an incredibly expensive paperweight. I will try to remove a star.~~~~1/21/2024. I bought this, not realizing it was the same thing I bought 5 years previous. I still am not a cell phone user; but bought this to power USB appliances. No other solar power bank that I know of lacks the ability to charge it via USB port. Guess it will be a flashlight AND an expensive paperweight.

I purchased two of these, charged them up and tested them. There is a hinged door covering the USB ports that is a little difficult to open, especially by someone with arthritis. Neither of the compasses function properly, but I kind of expected that. So far, overall not bad for the price.

Just received device got it fully charged. Read the directions that had to be written by a child. Did not say how to turn on the lights and I finally found the switch. Turned on the light but the switch will not turn them off. So had to leave on. How do you turn off the lights? Charles BryantFeb 7, 2019. Just got a replacement for the device that I could not turn lights off. Same problem. Sending back and not asking for a replacement. Twice is enough. No response as to how to turn off. Of course thought pressing the button I used to turn on would work. Wrong. Might add a very strong long lasting charge but do not wish to leave lights on until charge is depleted.

Swelled up, batteries leaking, swollen up badly on both sides. I keep it inside a cabinet with $18k of camera equipment. I've used it twice. Never left it out in the sun or in winter. I cannot reach the seller about replacing it. I invested hard earn money into a product that should offer a few years of service when used occasionally.
