Great quality brand!
Great bottles for storing milks. I bought these because although I do make nut/rice milks from time to time, more often I have a very difficult time with handling the shelf-stable milks & some other odd shaped bottles. I find cartons seem to lose their rigidity, (one brand in particular has a very shallow cap), which doesn't seem to catch well & when you shake it, I wind up spilling most of the liquid! One concern of mine, was that I have very small hands, but these prove to be rather simple to grasp with the square shape. The newer silicone cap seems to be one of the better ones I've come across, with no leaking or spilling, and is really easy to remove & clean. Especially when dealing with settling/shaking required of nut & rice milks, the only thing to be aware of is to keep your finger over the tiny pin-hole when giving it a shake, so as not to splash out. I've actually purchased a different brand for the gallon sized & although I liked the bottle, the cap was nearly impossible to open, and the pour spout left quite a bit to be desired. I came back to the Dairy Shop for the silicone caps because they are far superior in my opinion. Just wish the bottles were ever so slightly smaller, as they are a tad too bulky for fitting more than three bottles side-by side on my door storage, unlike, say my usual 4-1quart containers along with 4-16oz fresh pressed juice bottles. (Tried to attach pics, but couldn't- just measure carefully if this is your concern.) All in all, fantastic quality bottle and silicone spout, a little disappointed I can't fit everything the way I'd normally do, I wouldn't consider them inexpensive, but you do get what you pay for.

These are super!
Great weight to them, but easy to handle. I use them for cold brewing teas and my juices, and look great in the fridge. The spout covers fit my smaller milk bottles, too. I use them for my creamers.

The perfect glass container for the second ferment of milk kefir . . .
This is my second purchase of The Diary Shoppe 1-Liter Glass Milk Bottle. I originally purchased a 2-pack of the milk bottles a couple of years ago. I recently began to make and drink 3-cups of milk kefir daily which meant that I needed two more of The Diary Shoppe 1-Liter Glass Milk Bottle. For the second milk kefir ferment, I prefer The Diary Shoppe 1-Liter Glass Milk Bottle over a Bell Mason Jar for refrigerator storage because two glass milk bottles fit side-by-side in the door shelf. The Bell Mason Jar is too big.The Diary Shoppe 1-Liter Glass Milk Bottle has a narrow neck so it's easier for me to grip to shake and to pour the kefir. I have hand arthritis so grip strength is a concern. The large size of the Bell Mason Jar makes gripping it a safety concern for me.If I should drop The Diary Shoppe 1-Liter Glass Milk Bottle, the glass is so thick that I don’t think it would easily shatter. The plastic pop-on lid of The Diary Shoppe 1-Litter Glass Milk Bottle is a possible weakness. So far the plastic lid hasn’t ripped or torn. I do put a finger or the palm of my hand on the lid when I vigorously shake the bottle to re-mix the kefir. The only negative thing I can say about The Diary Shoppe 1-Liter Glass Milk Bottle is the pour spout. That’s a piece of junk. Milk or kefir does NOT flow easily through the pour spout and the plastic pour spout will eventually crack and leak making it useless. The Diary Shoppe should have offered extra plastic lids instead of the pour spout.Except for the pour spout, I enthusiastically recommend The Diary Shoppe 1-Liter Glass Milk Bottle especially if you’re making milk kefir.

Love, love, love these bottles for home-made cashew and almond milk
These nice hefty bottles are just the right size for holding a few days of non-dairy milk. I put in 3 tablespoons of Modest Mylk nut base, almost 4 cups of water, some stevia and vanilla, and voila! a very tasty low calorie drink. The bottle fits nicely in the refrigerator door. I stick it on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and it cleans up crystal clear. No muss, no fuss. Having 2 bottles helps me cycle between having one in the fridge and one in the dishwasher. The caps are sturdy and tight. It takes a bit of effort to get them off, even after running them under warm water as recommended, but I'm getting the hang of it. I really like that I just have to take the little red cap off to pour out the milk. The spout is much better at directing the flow than the average store carton or jug.I feel like a proper hippy now that I don't have a bunch of waxed cardboard milk cartons filling up my recycle bin. I am really glad I purchased these bottles from Dairy Shoppe. I can see using them every day for a long time.

Great bottles, but the size changed!
I bought 4 of these originally to repackage a gallon of milk. The bottles fit in the fridge better, and the glass keeps the milk colder than the large plastic jug. And, of course, it might help to minimize my exposure to microplastics. The original bottles came with a yellow hard plastic pour spout lid, which some customers hated; I didn't have a problem with it, as long as I ran it under hot water before I tried to remove it.So I bought 2 more bottles in order to be able to transfer a gallon of milk while I still had a bottle or two of milk left in these. They came with the new soft silicone pour spout lids, which seem to work fine. But I found out that my original bottles were (as advertised) quart bottles ... 32 ounces. When I transfer a gallon of milk into those 4 bottles, they all fill right to the top.But the new bottles are 33.8 ounces, which leaves a significant gap at the top of the milk in the bottle. I really prefer to minimize the air in the bottle before I start using that one.I would love to donate those 2 bottles to a charity, and purchase 2 more of the (actual) quart bottles. But those don't seem to be offered any more, so if I want those I'll have to go to another vendor.
