These delightful licorice candies are meant to be slowly disolved under your tongue. Some people like to crunch them. Either way, this is the finest quality pure licorice and very, very strong.If you like dark molasses or super bittersweet chocolate that's way more bitter than sweet, then you might like these spezzatinas, too. If you're expecting the typical sugary, anise-flavored candy that's called "licorice" then these are probably not for you. These do not taste like anise in the slightest. There is no added sweetener, only the natural gentle sweetness of pure licorice.I no longer offer them to my friends because they all hate it but that's good because it means more for me! But go easy on these or maybe give them a pass entirely if you have high blood pressure.

The actual licorice extract has an intense flavor and is of the top quality. I typically use a quarter of a piece and the flavor lasts for hours at end. Great gift idea for someone who loves licorice! The whole tin contains plenty of pieces and is super cost effective!

Licorice is one of those Great Divides: Some people like it; some people don't like it at all. I was surprised to discover how well it goes with a sip of red wine. Not kidding (although it's not a combo I'm necessarily recommending). Just a little experience I thought I'd pass on.

These are different from many candies. The flavor is rich and satisfying, but the flavor is strong enough that one is enough- I'm not tempted to keep eating them. I have been looking for a Sen-sen replacement, and I'll keep looking; but I will buy these again.

Not what I expected ! Very hard . Like it has been sitting around for a long time. I have hade much better.

This is perfect for someone that likes licorice but want to eat the sugar contained in most products. Delicious!

I love this strong licorice but it’s not for everyone. Just know it’s a strong bitter licorice no sweetness at all. For me it’s a 10 out of 10 licorice for ME….

This is real pure licorice- been eating these for years. One little piece lasts me a few days, since this is something you ‘eat’ in moderation. It’s good for digestion and other things - if eaten in moderation
